Made Event is proud to present the king of trance Markus Schulz as he returns to reign over the decks at Pacha NYC on Friday June 17, 2011.
Over the last 10 years Markus Schulz has fused the individual musical identities of progressive, house and trance into his own creative, now inimitable hybrid sound. Through the unique alignment of headlining DJ sets, Armada and Coldharbour label output and his highly prominent Global DJ Broadcast radio show, he’s spearheaded a sea change revolution in the US trance scene. This success has been reflected in weekly sets played in front of many tens of thousands, a GDJB listenership up in the millions and one Beatport chart-topper after another. Following several highly ranked positions, in 2008 Schulz punched his way into the Top 10 of DJ Magazine’s Top 100 chart, landing at #8 and remaining there ever since.
Last year was Markus Schulz’s busiest year yet, with almost 150 gigs over 12 months, fueled by his third critically-acclaimed artist album, ‘Do You Dream?’ This year, following an outstanding effort through his ‘Prague ’11’ compilation, the legacy of Do You Dream lives on in 'Do You Dream? – The Remixes,’ featuring reworks from Ferry Corsten, Cosmic Gate, Super8 & Tab and more. Also recently released is his ‘Do You Dream? World Tour Documentary’ DVD, which follows Schulz through 18 countries over a 3-month period, taking viewers inside Markus’ professional life up close and at times personal, capturing his thoughts pre-gig in the ready-rooms, and following him onto the stages of electronic dance’s music biggest, most celebrated events. Not one to rest on his plethora of accomplishments, Schulz’s second album under his alter-ego Dakota, ‘Thoughts Become Things II,’ is out on July 8. It is a 14-track follow up to ‘Thoughts Become Things I,’ which is heralded as one of the boldest branch-outs ever undertaken by an EDM artist, exploring the darker and more devoutly club side of the Markus Schulz sound.

The King of Trance.....I like it. :cool:
IMO....the tracks on TBT2 are some of Markus' best; instant club bombs!:whip:
Gypsy Moon has an "enjoy the silence" (DM) ring to it, which I love!:crazy:
Getting very excited for Friday and although I don't attend many shows...when I do, I always look forward to being in the company of those who share the same devotion and passion for EDM...and you have always made me feel welcome :)
