From your same article:

What's even more disgusting is that she used her strategically worded nonsense to surmise that Revere was riding to protect the Americans' right to bear arms. Something I'm sure would fit well into her agenda of believing that it is our god-given right to own a fully automatic assault rifle with no permit.

You can keep posting the same quote over and over, but it doesn't change the fact that the actual statement that she made was not true. Revere was not riding around shooting guns and ringing bells. She said that. End of discussion.

Fine, point out the line in the article where the historian says she may have been lucky. Does lucky mean wrong? Don't shut your mind to the possibility that she was factually correct. I didn't see anywhere that said Revere didn't have a bell or didn't fire a gun. The Boston Herald is a pretty left wing newspaper so for them to publish an article basically vindicating Palin says something.

Let's get down to it: your whole intent was to paint her as being stupid... now you're all squabbling over the semantics of what her intent was, who "maybe" fired guns and beat on drums, how bad her dialect sounds, etc.

I always have to add this disclaimer so I'll do it again: I am not a Plain supporter nor would I vote for her for President. But I just can't for the life of me understand why you have such visceral hatred for her. What has she done that is so horrible? She is not the problem, and she has not contributed in any way to the policies that have put our economy in its current state. We are coming apart at the seams and it's a national story what Palin paraphrases about Paul Revere?

I have a vast variety of sources that say Sarah Palin is an imbecile.
Tasty Onions
I don't "hate" Sarah Palin, but I do think that she and her fan club are all morons.

Sadly, bumbling stupidity (or at least a simulation of it) is a recipe for popularity in American politics.

Is Barack Obama stupid for signing his name followed by "May 2008" in the Queen's guest book in London last month, forgetting it was 2011? If Palin made that gaffe we'd never hear the end of it. But Obama does it and it's "Oh snap, the man was jet lagged, give him a break."

She is everything that is wrong with this country. She is not intelligent, yet is vying for control of our country. She goes on tirades about the problems with our current government, yet offers no logical solutions in return. She is a puppet. She's a puppet for the uneducated majority of America would would rather have someone who can't pronounce words correctly leading our country, than someone who is probably one of the most intelligent presidents our country has ever had. I don't hate her. I hate what she stands for. I hate that people like her are the "face" of this country. I don't even really consider myself to be an "American," but I'm embarrassed to be in this country. I take solace in the fact that with our last election, America has seemed to have taken steps in the right direction, but despite this, our progress is threatened by a party whose figurehead quite clearly doesn't know the first thing about pretty much anything other than her own state. People like her are the reason that the rest of the world thinks that Americans are stupid. People like her are why parents in the US are content with mediocrity out of their children. As a rule of thumb, I would say that if you can't speak proper English, you shouldn't be running for president (although I sincerely hope that she does, and that she received the nomination). What a lovely landslide that would be.

An alleged photograph of a Democratic Congressman's (covered) genitalia has made national news. It goes both ways.

Check this out though:

Sarah Palin gets called stupid because she is stupid.

Obama received a B.A. from Columbia, a J.D. from Harvard Law, and was even a professor of law at the University of Chicago for 12 years, after which he became a Senator.

Palin attended 5 different schools (2 of which being Community Colleges) before achieving a degree in Communications. One of her greatest achievements in college was winning the Miss Wasilla beauty pageant, and finishing 3rd in the Miss Alaska pageant.

Which one of them do you want to lead your country? Somebody who has spent the better part of 2 decades studying and practicing law at some of the best schools in this country, or someone who appeals to the portion of our country who believes that Obama is a Muslim terrorist in disguise?

could anything & everything that has ever come out of obama’s mouth be described as abject idiocy? You cut people some slack when they’re not routinely making idiots of themselves. Palin long ago used up her quota of stupid.

Yeah it's different, he is an elected official. And there's nothing alleged about it. He was strait up busted. He admitted today his naked was also a photo he shared, and had secretive sexting going on with 6 different women. That is definitely national news, especially because the man went on the interview circuit the past 2 weeks shamelessly lying to the nation about it. For 's sake, he lead a Congressional hearing last year on the "unethical nature" of Glenn Beck!
