... but mostly the Left, considering they are in charge and have been now for a while, and are making said policies. From what I gather, the Tea Party would not support Bush's economic policies today either.
You can't seriously just blame all of our problems on the people in charge right now. The Left has been in power for a few years. Our budget problems come from low taxes and high spending over many years, policies that have been put in place by both sides (though reduced taxes mostly by the Right).

Well, yes but these destructive policies (mostly the spending and government growth) were exponentially increased since the Democrats took over Congress and thus the purse in 2006. And if you think raising taxes will get us out of this, I can't help you.

I think we need to cut spending, reform entitlements, and raise taxes ;)

Ha... you know what? I would not be opposed at all to raising taxes if we cut spending and reformed entitlements. Get more tax payers into the system and off the dole. Our ing tax code is so messed up anyway.

Pssh. Please. If you lived here and were inundated on a daily basis by American media it wouldn't be difficult to see. The majority of the media in this country slants left and it's not even close. No tough questions or tough follow-ups for Obama ever... they toss him softball after softball burying their noses in his rectum. I have never seen media carry water for someone like they do for Obama; they have to- they invested their reputations in Hopeandchange. I would argue the opposite of what you guys are saying- anything to the Right like Fox looks extreme because so much of it (media) resides on the Left. NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, the New York Times... you think the heads of those networks and their employees are pulling the Republican lever at the ballot box? LOL!
And big business will most certainly be whatever they need to be to get favors. Obama got a hell of a lot more campaign donations from big business and Wall Street than McCain, or any other politician before him. They know how anti private sector he is and they're scared to death, so they're sucking up until the storm passes. Look at GE reaping the rewards for kissing up to him. One of the world's largest and most profitable companies just banked sick profits and paid no taxes in 2010.
i rest my case.

As always kev, i do actually like you, and you are entitled to your own opinions, just not your own definitions of words and facts :p
Also speaking of big media billionaires with a radical agenda...how many republican presidential candidates are working for fox news again?
If there was an example of someone being accidentally right, this has to it. Seriously, I still think even when she's half-right about something, she doesn't know wtf she's talking about.

Can we just cut military spending already? Please?

His 30+ organizations/foundations also have ties to funding NBC, the NY Times, the AP, and more. ABC's Christiane Amanpour and the Washington Post editor serve on boards that are funded by Soros' money. ProPublica, funded by Soros, is made up of a "Journalism Advisory Board" which includes CNN's David Gergen, the managing editor of the NY Times, the Senior VP of editing for ABC News, etc. How about Soros' laughably named "Center for Public Integrity" which has again Amanpour on its board along with Arianna Huffington, executive VP of NBC Paula Madison, ABC News president Ben Sherwood... and this is just the tip of the iceberg.
His money and tentacles are everywhere... it's insane. And we never hear about it. And we are to believe this man's billions of dollars of influence to all these media outlets are with no strings? They are not objective. They have an agenda and they follow it. And to keep the cash spigot opened they slant in the direction the puppet master wants.
How often does the "lamestream media" report on the influence of the Koch brothers on right-wing policy? Oh, right, they don't.

Is that the very same uber radical Marxist who's a billionaire hedge fund manager? The same one who is a huge fan of The Open Society And Its Enemies, Karl Popper's aggressive critique of Marx and his politics?
