I think you need a meteor to hit your face. :p

Because you've completely missed my point from the beginning.

climate change is an important subject for scientists because when people are scared of it more jobs are created and they get paid!

Possibly. The only thing I gleaned from your posts is that you have no idea what you’re talking about.

yep, its just one big conspiracy. Unfortunately deads such as yourself don’t possess the grey matter in order to debunk the mountains of made-up scientific research and save us from all the paranoia.

The point is that carbon emissions are not a simple linear correlation to temperature.

You are taking a very simplified view of the effects of CO2 emissions.

Go and read my post on the acidification of the ocean and the quick destruction we are currently witnessing of marine eco-systems directly caused by the high C02 emissions.

And my point was (if you read my first/second post) that ecosystem's that get destroyed, get replaced by new ones. even with drastic change in environment (IE KT extinction).

Now the impact on human life? That is another question which i raised in the second post that you didn't even bother to look at.

perhaps, but don't you think certain organisms that exist will thrive in these kinds of environments?

Nrg2Nfinit digging another one of his holes. I wonder how long it will take him to give up and start backpedalling this time?

i think i've made my point clear from the beginning of this thread. No need to reiterate it several times. If anyone thinks AGW will end up destroying the life on this planet, they clearly don't understand the history and persistence of life, even through the quickest and most drastic changes.

Who in this thread has said that?

Yeah, but what are you basing that statement on, when as has been stated multiple times, THIS time is NOT LIKE the last times... Especially when the LAST TIMES were not documented--

you're saying people (read: 99% of the scientific community) are wrong for not realising the historical realities of change, when 1: the history isn't certain, and you definitely don't know much about it, and 2: the people you're saying are wrong (the scientists) are the ones who TOLD YOU about the history!! :eyes: :stongue:

I am not denying the change (I have clearly stated this from the beginning of the thread). I am denying the speculation based on the changes and the end result.

And for system J, i am reiterating the point i've made from the beginning of the thread. Those who are arguing against me are arguing against that sole premise.

No i never said that, you aren't reading what i wrote. Scientists aren't the ones proclaiming that the Himalayas are going to melt by 2035. Remember that. scientists are the ones that make an analysis on what has already occurred.
