Many have. Among other reasons they were not invaded by Germany in the second World War was because of their well trained, massive in numbers, and highly fortified military and militia. They mobilized nearly a half million soldiers and militiamen in 3 days at the outbreak of hostilities in Europe and they remained neutral and untouched during the war.
The country is essentially a giant bunker with a population that generally has some degree of military training. |

This same argument was made right after the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan and the U.S. was warned that they cannot win in that country and here we are in 2011 still saying the same thing.:p You’d think they get the hint by now no? |
