Thanks for your kind words :) It would not exist without you guys, so thanks for that. Cant wait to get it going again, i guess the work begins at the beginning of october. Very curious to see whats the case this year with ultra and wmc.. I hope they kiss and make up.
We started looking the villas again and looks like most of the owners have increased their prices from last year. This one house at 44th & Alton was $6300 last year and this year we got a quote for $12k. ing ridiculous. lol
I'd like to take a villa again, because we'll be about 10 deep again but seems like i have to take hotel rooms/suites/lofts/penthouses in to consideration. Damn. |

We are doing the blog again this year, but as Pat said it is based on pretty much on TA's WMC/MMW event thread so just keep looking TA Florida/wmc section and you'll be just fine. |
Wow awesome, just reading through the list of last years parties is getting me excited |

| UMF radio said just a moment ago that Ultra's web site is going to be launched today and hinted early birds might go up along with it. Knowing Ultra that won't happen and the site is probably going to be launched next week the earliest, but just thought to pass the info along... |

last year i stayed at the Dorchester Suites (right across from Shelborne). We had 6 people in our room sleeping in 2 beds, a rollaway bed (at no extra charge) and a big couch. The room also had a full kitchen, big fridge, microwave. Came out to about $410 a night i believe. Was definitely worth it and i HIGHLY recommend that place. We never got noise complaints either(i brought my own JBL 12 inch speaker from home). Also has a 24hour open heated pool which is feels AMAZING after coming home from a long night of partying btw.
will be staying there again for WMC 2012.
anyone else stayed at any larger suites at the hotels in south beach? Any of them good? |

| I prefer downtown because that's where I spend most of my time and "bang for buck" is much better. |

I know it's super early but I wanted to get a good deal on a hotel.
I put a bid on Priceline for $95 a night and it gave me Courtyard Marriott in downtown Miami. It's closer to Bayfront than Bicentennial but it's not that far, maybe a mile and a half or so.
For four nights, it came out to like $440 when you include taxes and fees. Not bad for Ultra weekend. Just something to think about before you guys book at the listed rates. |

That is a great deal, i have stayed there before since I have status with Marriott. Nice hotel, some restaurants within walking distance and I even walked to Space one time (I went to Biscayne to do it though because anything else would have been unsafe)
What were the exact dates you bid so I can attempt to replicate it. Also did you pick 3 or 3.5 star |

My dates were Thursday March 22 to Monday March 26. I bid $95 and I selected Collins, Ocean, and Downtown Miami as the possible areas. 2.5 stars was the level I selected.
Good luck! The Priceline negotiator has got to be the cheapest way to book a hotel. I went to the Marriott site and you normally pay $270 per NIGHT. I'm blown away by the deal I was able to put together. |

| I got the Holiday Inn DT March 21-25 for now. Well see what happens later on. DT has been a good area for us, but we did spend alot of time this year in SOBE. |
