| Is accommodation that isn't too expensive possible in Miami Beach? Rooms run around 500 from what I'm seeing and I hear staying in downtown isn't ideal since there are no taxis or buses later at night. I only plan on UMF itself for maybe one night, so no point to hang around somewhere besides Miami Beach. Can anyone recommend anything? |

For the last 3 years, I stayed in South Beach, different hotels around 15th Street; very good location. My rates per night were $248, $175, and $200 / night for each of the 3 years. You have to keep your eye out on deals, since all the hotels I booked rose to $300+ per night.
I remember the Shelbourne (maybe Surfcomber?) was $186/night last year, but that deal only lasted 1 day. Prices change quick. Certain sites have better prices than others.
This year, I'm not going to Ultra, but I'll take part in the boat/pool parties during the day. I still think most of my parties will be in South Beach, but I will probably spend some time at Ice Palace, Vagabond so I'm still considering a hotel downtown if the price is right. |

you simply have to search more. yes there are $500/night a hotel rooms but you can surely find something cheaper. and downtown is fine. there are always taxis and there is even a bus that runs all night.
but you wont be able to go to ultra for just one night. the ticket comes as a 3 day pass and it will sell out fairly soon. you wont get the chance to buy a ticket for just one day. |

| Yep, we secured a place from Wed-Mon and are paying around $1200. Staying on 15th of Collins again. IMHO, if your going to stay on SoBe, between 8th and 22nd are choice as all the clubs are in that general area within walking distance. |

so now that thats cleared up. yes he asked for ultra. on a side note i brought up the ultra/wmc relationship because im curious if wmc will be same week as ultra this year. judging by that flyer though because it says mmw maybe not. |
So due to the announcement that WMC is 16-25 does that mean that WMC and MMW is the same thing now? So many ing acronyms lol. |

since they overlap im of the opinion that it should all just be called wmc again.
however i have a feeling that ultra still isnt part of wmc because the first ultra flyer said "mmw" and the wmc date announcement official statement didnt say anything about ultra. so i think their relationship is probably still shattered.
but who cares right? are we really going to call the same period in time 2 separate things? no! i say lets just say wmc again!! |

The only thing I care for is being there when all the day/night parties are on at Mandion, Nikki, Liv wherever. I plan on flying in on the Thursday and leaving on Monday. |

its probably a safe bet to say that the biggest stuff will overlap with ultra, as always. |

same here, I didn't do anything WMC related or go to UMF 2 years ago and don't plan on doing that next year either. I'm planning to go Wednesday - Monday. :D |
