Everybody has their opionions about condos versus hotels and such, but I personally love having a kitchen and fridge and stuff. Not only does it save a ton of money, but I find it very convenient. I guess I'm just getting old, but I'm not out and about 24/7 during Ultra/WMC anymore. After returning to the condo from the club in the morining it's nice to be able to relax and have something to eat before crashing for a few hours before heading out again. The same goes for when I wake up or stop back to change in between day and night parties. That's one of the main reasons we love staying downtown. We still spend a lare percentage of time outside the condo going to pool parties, boat parties, as well as eating out quite often. Still, after a long day I can't tell you how valuable it has been to have a place to come back to and recharge, relax for a few, and pre-party before walking to the next club. WMC is a week long marathon for me and I've been able to get the most out of it by having a condo downtown.
Just my two cents.
EDIT: I should note that I don't do the festival anymore, so maybe that makes a difference as far as having time to spend at a hotel/condo. We still spend most afternoons over in South Beach, though, and eat out a lot. I suppose if you were in town for just a couple days primarily for the festival, then it wouldn't really matter what kind of place you stayed in. |

Yeah but why the hell would you keep going back to the hotel to make something to eat?
Maybe I'm doing it wrong but when I do that weekend I'm never at the damn hotel save for 4 hours a night! (or to change into club attire) | u wouldnt, but u would at least be able to cook yourself a good breakfast, or dinner......at least save that way.....and u have a fridge, with ice so u can store all your alcohol, usually a nice balcony with a great view..... |

| I really don't know how this is going to work, BUT I'm not an event planner. Bayfront is a little bigger in acreage but, it also has tons of trees fountains and other random junk in the way... |

| This is what's gonna happen ( and what happened at Bayfront the Ultra's right before bicenntenial ). IF the Amphitheater is the Main Stage, and Ultra sells out, more than likely it will shut down for anyone trying to get into it once it reaches full capacity. I'm trying to figure out where would the massive Carl Cox tent be laid out. Anyways, Bayfront Park has got a better feel then the Bicentennial Park .. but since it will most likely sell out then for anyone going prepare for the Ultra Crowdiness through the small main roads that connect throughout the park. |

The streets are being blocked off and used for the festival. Cox & Friends will be on the street. Megastructure returning |

IF this is true. How will the CC&F stage fit on the street? If I remember correctly the tent was massive and definitely wider than the street. |

Wouldn't know the logistics of how it'll work, just know that that's what they're doing. Had Carl here a few wks ago and that's what he said. He seemed really excited about it. Oh and the lineup is AMAZING for cc & friends btw. AMAAAAAZING. No commercial stuff at the stage all 3 days ;). Can't divulge any info on that tho. |
