Everyone's indoctrinated. It's difficult to pick and choose your judgments these days. |
well that's true to a degree, and it's why i generally stay away from 'us versus them' kind of ideas. but if there was one i'd have to pick, it'd be 'people who accept things the way they are said to be versus people who challenge them'. |

Equally as troubling are the wealth (for lack of a better term) of women who think relationships are like romantic comedies or other tv shows. You know, the same ones who suppose men to be deluded because all they want is porno sex, and don't really find tears or feelings terribly attractive. |
The same ones who think all men are stupid cavemen who need to be tamed and guided by the wise woman?
:p |

well we all know that was an advertising ruse designed by men in the 1960s. |

| True, but it has kind of taken on a cultural life of its own since then. |

well not to be an ass (seriously) but doesn't that say more about the kind of girls you have experience with?
i totally agree though. 'female chauvinist pigs'.
i think a better thread title would be 'is it true that attractive people live in a reality dominated by sex' and obviously that's a truism. |
I'm not only talking from personal experience here. I tended bar for a long time, so I've seen it all, heard it all, done it all.:p
That being said, you never knew any women that used sex as a way to give themselves value in regards to the opposite sex? Women who used their sex appeal to get ahead professionally? If a man pulls that he is scum, but a woman does it, she is empowered.
Give me a break. |

Not sure if serious... |
Ever worked in a bar my friend?
I get this attitude from my experience, I guess. I worked at an island resort for a few months, and one of the guys put it quite succinctly: "the girls (guests) come here for the cock, and who are you to deny it?"
And like I mentioned, only invited attention, not just being a creep to all your customers. |

| Those sound like lines from a bad, rated-r-because-of-weed-and-random-nudity 'comedy,' imo. |
