but silent ogling? I find it hard to follow you that far. |
Again, I'm not talking about just looking at someone, I'm talking about staring and ogling , particluarly when it becomes lecherous (undressing with eyes)
The only difference between women and men is that women ogle men when they aren't looking, because they don't want to the man to know they're giving him their attention, and men don't give a , because they think assume the woman wants their attention. Men mostly have a 'throw it at the wall and see what sticks' approach to women.
In both cases I personally find it rude. Maybe I am old fashioned. |

| You sure it wasn't because they were scared that you would face plant into the ocean with that massive head of yours and trigger another tsunami? |

Actually, so am I. I just wanted to make sure rude remarks and cat calls were left out.

Well, maybe it isn't a laudable behaviour. I, for one, try not to do anything similar to that. Regardless of my reasons not to do it, I'm very careful not to say everyone should think or behave like me unless there's some sort of harmful consequence. I'd be more worried about second hand smoke than random ogling, for example. Or - and this is probably more of a sexist problem - gender pay gap. |
