If you feel that lonely. Think about this: you can jack off without the worry of your siblings and parents walking in.
You might become like Quagmire.

Dogs, of course, need lots of space to run, and play, and , and do all of their doggy things. Most cats are pretty content to stay immaculate all of the time.
Don't really agree with this at all. I've had three cats and none of them were happy being locked in the house for extended periods. Cats absolutely love to climb and explore and hunt and generally roam around. If you walk around suburban streets at night you'll see a whole nocturnal cat community. My stance is basically if you live in an area too dangerous to expect an outdoor cat to survive, it's not fair to own one at all.

Yeah plus, when you let your cat outside they can do most of their shedding out there. Cat hair ftl.
We got our cat when she was already a year old, and she had never been outside - but that instinct was still there. She used to always sit curiously by the back door, clearly wondering "What the is out there? Let me out humons!"
I guess she made friends with a neighbourhood cat, cause recently we've noticed one coming by our place the same time every day. He sits in the front garden and stares up into the bay window where Pepper usually sits in the sun, lol.
I woke up really early one morning and saw Pepper going nuts with her tail all puffed up in the window. Sure enough I look outside and there was that in cat, just sitting and staring at her. Lolololol.
//Oh also, especially if you have a female cat that's spayed, it needs to go outside. Fixed cats need more exercise!

If you are lucky you will never meet your neighbours. Unfortunately for me my neighbour likes to snoop and spy on everything I do. The good thing is he has terminal cancer and should be dead in 6 months.

Yes, I remember that about living in England. It's different here, though. Don't knock my culture!

Of course I know what you mean about having the space/a yard. This weekend or the next I'm gonna buy some plants / flowers for my balcony. I'm not sure if they'll get enough direct sun though (a bit shaded from trees for most of the day. the only period with lots of light is maybe 11am-3 or 4pm).
Get a dracaena! They love filtered sun.

thanks :) I used to live in a TINY studio (282 sq. ft.!!!) so I bought a lot of wall-mount kitchen solutions from IKEA. Don't have enough wall space to use all of them now, but I love my knife rack too! Plus, insta access to weapons if we ever get broken into... although that could work to our disadvantage too...

Haha throwing knives! My brother is living in a studio now that's about that size. My place, fortunately, is 455sqft or so
