I have time to take issue with one point:

...Saddam Hussein is not the only world leader with weapons of mass destruction. There are plenty of countries with even more lethal nuclear weapons including the U.S., Russian, the Ukraine, China, France, Britain, South Africa, India, and Pakistan....There is very much a double-standard going on with regards to Iraq.

The thing that sets Iraq apart from the other countries is its poor track record when it comes to using weapons responsibly. The Geneva convetions prohibts using chemical weapons. Iraq has violated the rules using chemical weapons against Iran and its own civilians. During the Gulf war they fired conventional missles at Isreal (a country who wasnt even involved in the conflict!)

That's why we dont want them to have nukes. make sense?

well, if you were paying attention you would have noticed the huge banner i posted in the FIRST PAGE of this thread. you might even have clicked on it, or on the text below it.

here it is again though, just for you:

http://www.nonviolence.org/iraq/

and, no, it's not a .com, it's a .org

maybe you are aware that .org is only for non-profit organization? they made this site on their own time, and don't get any money from it, because they care about stopping wars worldwide.

where do you get your information from? cnn.com, i saw you post a link from there already once today.

you make me laugh.

I don't, thank you. you are correct this is a biased viewpoint. I get my information from all over the place though.

yep. The US has also violated the Geneva Conventions, several times, here is a link to just one such incident.

and the ONLY reason i posted that CNN link was because it dirfectley QUOTED Tony Blair on the matter...and i wanted people to see that it's not just Bush. but that Blair also agrees on ridding Hussein...

so it was a direct quote from Tony Blair..not a CNN story...but i guess your too cool to understand the difference in that.

oh no wait lemme guess..CNN goes around quoting world leaders with false statements...right...lol...they may give bias information but they do not do that...

dude the article is from an anti-war site thats putting on a spin for their cause. How does .org give it creditablity?

Here go to this .org site http://www.duke.org/ its David Duke the leader of the KKK

if you still think .org = good i'll eat my hat.

i am not basing my view on that article, i'm providing facts via it. and if you tell me that RD doesn't provide good solid facts or isn't an informative source, then that is an ignorant statement. i am not saying it is a good source of world news, but the articles are very well informed and as accurate as you would find in any news periodical.

how can u compare dispute over Al Queda POW status to using chemical weapons to kill tens of thousands of ppl? btw, since the Al Queda isnt country they dont get same protection under the geneva convention, besides they're getting treated better than the ppl who died in the jet planes and twin towers.

I have no beef with the American people, but frankly ppl your president is a ing prick! he's a modern day Genghis Khan if you ask me, want to argue with me Yankee's? you lot ain't in the firing range if he fires a nuke, so can you can sit there saying this saying ing that.

Whats the point yeah Saddams an evil bastard, but he hasn't invaded Kuwait again what reason have you to attack him? Weapons yes at first he didn't want weapon inspectors in, but then he made an offer to let them back in, but old face retard inbred redneck Bush won't have it, and of course Bush has to say Saddam is dangerous, well Iraq hhhhmmmm hardly a very rich country Gulf War would of been what 12 years ago odd, then the air strikes again in the late 90s, the Gulf war was not only fought in Kuwait but Iraq too, and the country is still crippled, what the are they going to do throw some Rugs or something at us? a member of Black September killed himself in Iraq and in his documents it included bank statements and details of a country that supports Terrorism (paid this terrorist), the Iraqi government have the documents if they were that hell bent on destroying the west they wouldn't of said they had documents or destroyed them?

It makes me laugh after Saddam who's next Gadaffi? HAHA and the worst ing thing is that posh bastard Blair is supporting him. I have 5 good friends in the Army if one of them comes home in a body bag from the desert if a war breaks out, I will personally travel to Texas and shoot that ing redneck YEAH ING SEND THAT TO THE FBI, SECRET SERVICE OR CIA, I threatened the president now does that make me a terrorist.

Wars good for a countries pride and industry, the UK backs every single one of Bushs moves If a war breaks out it will probably end quick but who knows, could turn into the next Vietnam, also I wonder what countries like Russia and China think of Bushes decisions, and what of all the countries that hate America? wouldn't isn't this just giving them reasons to want to harm the USA, cos I tell you what from what I've seen they can probably create powerful properganda with this Iraq business.

Remember don't ing flame me this isn't an attack on Americans, its an attack on that ing for brains wanker Bush, also please please please don't vote Republicans next election ;)
