nice reviews.

i totally expected to hear that vibe owned, he's a true gem of a dj who will almost always deliver a great set! true crowd pleaser.

also agree that d-formation shines in his marathon sets; how long did he get anyways? he probably dropped a few slow tech house tracks and tried to pick it up quick in the end and ended up rushing it all...

how did tenaglia manage to make his way up lol

anyone have videos of JoC or vibe??

I haven't written a review on Tranceaddict in ages, but here goes nothing!

This was my first massive in Montreal, and overall i had an amazing time.

The good:
Incredible dj lineups for both rooms
Tons of space to dance
Options of drinks, food and massages which for a party that long is essential.
1 hour sets for the dj's in the trance room meant little room for filler, and hearing a new dj every hour kept the sound fresh. This can only work with great dj's booked, and they were. Something different and i liked it.
Finally saw Hernan and loved it.
Was never overheating in either room

The not so good:
Sound - In the trance room as was already mentioned, vocal's were hard to hear.
In the house room, similar situation, clarity just wasnt there.
In the house room, i felt the clearest sound was right by the back speakers which you cant stay for long as its the loudest there of course. It didnt ruin the night, and it is a venue thats not on a weekly basis (like a club) so i cant be too surprised, but wished it was better.

Looking forward to attending future events in Montreal. Hope Toronto some day does massives like this as well.

After 18hrs of sleep, some food and rest, I can write my review!
Awsome Black & Blue, Proper Rave, was in the house room most of the time, D-Formation played a pretty good banging set, got everyone dancing, but I was just waiting for the Maestro to come in, 9:00am finally came, and I am ready to go on my 3hrs journey,
What can I say!! Amazing, Incresidble Set! One of the best live sets I have heard in the last 5 years!! Track Selection, Vibe, Mixing, just wow! I had my hand up in some of my tracks, full of joy, couldnt leave till he finsihed @ noon, awsome close to a great party! viva el meatro!!

Here are some of the tracks I remember from Hernan's Set:

Gregor Tresher - Lights From The Inside (Dosem Remix)
Inxec, Droog - Westbound (Original Mix)
Christian Smith - Pitanga
Raxon - Into The Summer (Cid Inc Remix)
Underworld - Dark And Long (Christian Smith Tronic Treatment Remix)
Diego Poblets - Meridians And Parallels
Mike Griego - In That Moment (Facundo Mohrr Remix)
Richie G - Vorbendacht (Hernan Cattaneo, Soundexile Remix)
Deadpan - Revolution (Seb Dhajje Remix)
Hartmut Kiss - Water Games (Eelke Kleijn's Vintage Remix)
Gary Beck - Mock Tease (Original Mix)

Ahhh Take me back!! lol
Cheers Guys!
Omar.

Spin Laden
no gatorade avail and no protein shakes (outside of the manpit :p) so that necessary aspect was lacking for a 15-hour event too.

Couldn't find the timeslots anywhere, except for the displays by the two stages, also some points were hot in the building and the aftorementioned bathroom situation was below normal massive standards

... so it did feel like a true rave :p

ZAPP!! In Ottawa J.....I know you're lurking!! surprised you figured out my alias. Time to create a handle :) Where's your review!!?

Things I LOVED:

VIP section, had all the room to dance, AC was on for the beginning of the night, VIP bathroom.
Leon Bolier set was awesome!!! In his whole set he played the most darkest 5 minutes I've ever heard. His music and selection of tracks went in your brain, and it sounded like the devils talking to you (wish i could find the ID for the track...hopefully it is released)Creepy and weird but awesome at the same time!!
And wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be.
Parking was cheap comparing to Toronto. Parking at an arena in Toronto you are going to be paying $20 bucks IF YOU ARE LUCKY.
No security!

Things I Disliked:

My whole body definitely got a VIP treatment from the VIP section...I was vibrating for half a day because the music was loud from the stage vibrating LOL.
Water was $6.00?!! Seriously?
Was expecting more from Andy Moor, was hoping he'd play some more classics.
In the front near the DJ booth..the music was SO loud literally I had to run away from the front LOL.

Overall, great night will go back again!

i see a few complaining about 6$ water.

why is this so shocking? pretty standard price imo, no?

Leon's set was amazing.
The song your probably talking about was either Vengeance Vengeance or The Peacemaker.
The other tracks i remember him playing from his own productions were 2099 and Yesterday Eve, + he closed with The Prodigy - No Good (Leon Bolier Bootleg)

@Spin Laden, the song you might've been referring to earlier that Hernan dropped could have been Russian Linesman - I am Narcassist (Ryan Davis 'Leaves of Autumn' Remix) Pretty sure he played it around the end of his first hour.
Hernan also dropped a new remix of an oldddd electronic song circa 99-2001 that i have the melody of in my head, but cant remember the name...
