@Spin Laden, the song you might've been referring to earlier that Hernan dropped could have been Russian Linesman - I am Narcassist (Ryan Davis 'Leaves of Autumn' Remix) Pretty sure he played it around the end of his first hour.
Hernan also dropped a new remix of an oldddd electronic song circa 99-2001 that i have the melody of in my head, but cant remember the name... |
The name of the classic Hernan dropped, is Andy Ling - Fixation! Finally figured it out...was very surprised when i heard that familiar melody being played by him! |

I was in the Trance room from 2am-ish to 9:30
One big, big big downside is the crazy echoing. Some of the more epic tracks sounded like garbage if you weren't standing right in the middle of the room (which i did eventually after 1 hour of crazy bad sound)
IMO the best was Andy Moor this year, his set was nice, aggressive and epic at times. I was a bit disappointed by Super8, was expecting more vocal, but it was great nonetheless. Chilled through half of W&W's, OCallaghan and a bit of Boliers set, can't say the second half of Bolier's was great, good thing Arnej was next, like some people said, he really picked it up later on, it was great. I eventually left right in the middle of Ummet's Arcadia, which I thought was the best track to leave the event on (a favorite).
All in all, I much more prefered last year's venue, but this years artists were INSANE, although I have no idea why some known Epic trance prods decided to play a more techny/trouse style, which I seriously hate, it TOTALLY killed the vibe for me at times.
I walked through the House section a few times, but IMO it was a snoozefest, not at all my style.
6/10, the venues in Montreal really need to start taking massive music events seriously because it's pretty aweful.
If theres some actual Trance addicts in here, give me a shout, always down for some good events :> |

It is pretty standard, usually $3-5 here in Toronto anyways. But i have never paid $6 for water and at Guvernment I have never seen it that price which is the biggest nightclub here in Toronto for any trance nights (been going since 2005). I was expecting maybe less since it is Montreal and everything is cheaper. My assumptions were wrong! You can probably say "tit" if you see someone taking water from the washroom fountain...then you are asking for a huge stomach ache the next day!
Dave-Da-Rave: That is the track Vengeance Vengeance! But it sounds different in the club and I recognized it only because of the vocals (IMO sounds better in the club). Thank you so much!! Amazing track! That track has stuck to me through-out the whole night...or should I say morning lol. |

$4.00 is the maximum. $5.00 is pushing it. $6.00 is just wrong especially in an event like B&B where people need to keep hydrated.
Probably a stupid business move as well because at that price people will make an effort to fill up their bottles whereas if you sell them at $3.00 or $4.00 people probably don't bother filling up and just purchase more throughout the night. |

| Near the house room, there were about 6 sinks with cold drinkable water to fill water bottles... you paid $6 if u wanted to. |

considering an expensive water bottle costs 25 cents... 6$ is outrageous. |

I have to admit, that decor/venue/sound sytem = Worst that I've seen. Back in the days 2005-2006 Bal en Blanc's were epic! Nothing can beat the boombox we had a couple years back.
For those who have been to the Black and Blue @ Olympic and to the Palais de Congres, which venue do you prefer? Me personally I prefer Palais de Congres for one major reason, WE HAD A BATHROOM.. bathroom stalls that smell like death are such a ing turnoff. And y'all charge us 90$ per tix and 6$ per bottle of water. Unfair :( |

i didnt go to black and blue at the palais only beb
but i felt overall the palais was alot nicer and cleaner of a venue
the house room at the stadium was alot bigger tho |
