You can play the "All justifications for belief are inescapably private" game if you like. But by the same token, believers also lose any right to try and convince others that they are correct, and quite a few of them will definitely not want to give that up.

Most atheists would be fine with that anyway, since it would mean an end to all preaching and all state-sanctioned imposing of religious morality. |

And also the end of every single political ideoligy. because you're dismissing the fact that people may think their way of life would be beneficial to society as a whole. Is that something you're willing to give up? |

That's stupid. Going by that, one couldn't possibly be a gnostic theist OR a gnostic atheist, because it's impossible to know whether there is a god or not.
It's really not black and white. You can not know that there's a god, and because of this, be unsure of whether you believe in it or not.
What about someone who believes "There might be a god"? |

at least people should know what the words they are using mean. or do you think that's unnecessary labeling as well? it might not be the most eloquently written text, but the message should be clear. |
