Man it must really suck to be gay when you're 13 years old. I still don't get how the whole gay thing works, tbh, from a mental/physical point of view, let alone when you're that age. That kid must be really really confused. I blame society mostly, not necessarily for treating him the way it has but for actually creating an environment where a 13 year old kid can actually be led to become gay. Nonetheless, he should be old enough to realize that being gay, especially at his age, is an incredibly unnatural thing, and that if he has to insist on following that orientation, and even going as far as making it known to other people, then he should already know what the consequences are likely going to be.
One other thing I'd like to mention, on the subject of homosexuality as a whole. Forget about the fact that we have been/are moving towards a society where being gay is not met with criticism/outward displays of intolerance. What kind of bothers me is that I feel that we are slowly moving beyond that, to the point where it's "ok to be gay" or that it's even accepted as a natural thing and that the general public not only not hate it, but actually begin to embrace it. Obviously I don't mean for an oneself to embrace the possibility of becoming gay, but for the average person to accept gay behavior as a regular and natural part of society and to even openly express their joy at the fact that gay people should be and are free to behave as they wish.
Basically what I mean is that I'm all for not being against gay people and gayness, not hating on them etc because we all have things we want to do, but to actually embrace it and accept it. I'm with the "I don't hate it, I just don't like it" group. Anyway I'm ranting here but it does kind of fascinate me how a child that young can be so sure of the fact that he is gay from a psychological/sociological point of view.
p.s. Ryan, while you show hints and glimmers of intelligence from time to time, ultimately you are hated on because you are ing oblivious, you have the absolute worst taste in music ever, and you are still way dumber than you are smart. |

| No definitely psychological. Homosexuality is a mental disorder. It was in the DSM guys. |

Yea I disagree. I think there's the same attraction for the same sex as I would have for the opposite sex. That's not psychological its physiological.
EDIT:
Although I do believe environment influences the creation of that physiological need which I suppose blurs the lines between the two. |

| I think that penises which are attracted to other penises suffer from a mental disorder, and the penises should be treated as such. |

Yikes, my opinion of you dropped after reading that.
Gay people finally being able (at least in some parts of the world) to pursue sex and love like anybody else -- and yes, even publicly discuss and celebrate their experiences doing that -- is something to feel joy about. The fact that it makes you uncomfortable is just too bad, so here's a tiny violin playing all for you.

But perhaps you think "teh gays" ought to take whatever they can get. I suppose the attitude of "Do whatever you want, but keep it entirely out of my sight and hearing, and don't say it's natural or normal!" is better than the beatings and killings of the past. |

and your entitled to your opinion. well, unless the government labels you a terrorist. Then they'll lock you up and throw away the key. That is, if you were in America.
But no seriously, I don't advocate homesexuality. I think it contradicts nature however, I do believe people from a young age are different sexually. Now whether that was because of environmental influences, or whether they were born that way, that's the way they are. They certainly have the right to live that way so long as they're happy. |
