But no seriously, I don't advocate homesexuality. I think it contradicts nature

how is homosexuality against nature? hundreds of species of animals exhibit homosexual behavior. also, unless you're ing them, another person's sexuality is really none of your business. much less do you have the right to say whether they are legally entitled to be together.
Alex
I think he meant it's wrong on an evolutionary basis.

If all the animals did was the same sex then they'd die off.

Just saying. :gsmile:

No I dont. In fact some of my best friends are gay. I don't have any issue with it whatsoever. Would I change the way they are- No. Do I wish they were different- No. Do I think their lifestyle is abnormal or wrong- No. They are who they are and they have deserving qualties that make them my friends regardless of their orientation.

and it being against nature.

The human species procreates naturally between a male and a female. A male and a male cannot reproduce nor can a female and a female. That's what I meant by unnatural.

Yikes, my opinion of you dropped after reading that.

Gay people finally being able (at least in some part of the world) to pursue sex and love like anybody else -- and yes, even publicly discuss and celebrate their experiences doing that -- is something to feel joy about. The fact that it makes you uncomfortable is just too bad, so here's a tiny violin playing all for you.

But perhaps you think "teh gays" ought to take whatever they can get. I suppose the attitude of "Do whatever you want, but keep it entirely out of my sight and hearing, and don't say it's natural or normal!" is better than the beatings and killings of the past.

No but you're wrong in that it doesn't make me uncomfortable, at all. Call me old school or tell me that my mentality is out-dated or something. Perhaps it was the environment I grew up in. I can tolerate homosexuality, but I will never be able to accept it as a natural behavior. It just physically, doesn't make any sense. I mean I suppose a man can have natural feelings for another man, but no, we shouldn't celebrate it.

Anyway I never had it in mind that you had an opinion of me at all and this is a music forum and that is my only reason for being here at the end of the day so nothing gained nothing lost;)

Dude, what the are you on, seriously? I am one of the most open-minded, liberal and [I like to think] forward-thinking people that I know, but unless you are gay, the only reason you would see homosexuality as a positive thing is that society fed you the idea that it's ok, and in fact encouraged to think so. Like I said let gay people be gay, I don't care. Let them be happy and let them enjoy the world the way that anybody else would. I have no problems with that. But for lack of better words (and I really do hate to use these words when I'm making a serious argument like this) that is not what they were created to be.
Alex
Ya. Like wanking it to nyan cat loops.

ya!

and trust me guys I'm not homophobic. I wouldn't be going to gay afterhours if I was and I wouldn't have spent any time in the company of gay people and at their homes. But I have.

I guess it's kind of a weird place to be. To be totally accepting of somebody yet not at the least bit embracing them.

And you Ryan, you ing f@ggot.
