Your crazy driving stories.

inspired by the events that happened to me on Dec. 27th 2011.

I was driving home with my girlfriend from my parents house for christmas dinner.

It was pretty mucky out, rain, and the snow had been turned into slush.

Driving home on the 407, following a bit too close to the guy in front of me (but not too bad)....suddenly he breaks, and swerves to the right.

Two headlights are now speeding towards me. Some is driving the wrong way on the highway!

I checked my blind spot quickly, and turn sharply into the left lane. saving the day.

insane.

So you didn't see anyone in your blind spot?

Oh man, that reminds me of one of the best things I have ever seen.

Traffic jam on Victoria bridge, here in Bris. We were right in the middle of the bridge at the time. There had just been an accident at the intersection, inbound, and all traffic had stopped.

I was shotgun in my friend's car, and the chick in the car in front of us had her hand on the horn constantly, for 20 mins or so (like that's going to make the traffic move). The guy in front of her eventually got the s.

He stepped out of his car, walked back to hers, pulled the keys right from the ignition, and tossed them off the side into the Brisbane River. Calmly walked back to his car.

We were in absolute histerics.

Obviously, otherwise there would be more to the story.

That is correct. nobody was in the left lane. Is this hard to believe for some reason?

Thread has some lulz potential.

December 30, 2011 -
I'm driving out of NYC with my brother in the passenger seat at around 3:50 am. I'd had ~2 or 3 drinks and was totally sober by this point. My brother managed to put back quite a few more. I thought he had fallen asleep but just when I got onto the GWB, I heard this strange noise next to me. Looked over and he had thrown up on himself and in the car. He didn't even say anything. Just sort of stared down. I said 'well...i'll stop at a gas station as soon as we get off the bridge'.

We did that. He took his shirt+sweater off and tossed them in the trunk. We cleaned up a little and then got moving. He was sitting there with some vomit still on him and some of it still around his seat, though. I'm tryin to get the home so I haul ass. Get pulled over and the cop clocked me at 85 in a 50. First thing he asks is "Have you been drinking tonight?" Before I can even respond my brother leans over and offers "I have, officer". He coolly glances over and replies "I can see that." In retrospect, that moment was ing glorious.

He let me off the hook completely.

I drove home one night after getting stupid drunk at a bar, and the whole way home I was like "HOW COULD ANYONE GET A SPEEDING TICKET WHEN DRINKING?!?!"
