| cant wait for markus to rip it again. His LA comp is coming out what 5 days before he comes to pacha? hes going to be throwing down some new tracks and finally getting to see some of those ids hes been keeping for it. going to be a crazy night to say the least. so glad axwells gig is on the same night, keep all the tool bags out of pacha and give me some room to dance. |

I think you're right... between Axwell and the Cosmic Experience, Markus should have that thick but spacious crowd everyone loves. |

Going to both LA '12 parties then off to NYC 4 days later for the Pacha party! Excited!!! Good to hear Axwell is playing the same night---hopefully the crowd isn't as sketch as the past few times I've been at Pacha. |

My thoughts exactly when I saw they were the same dates. |

Most likely will be there. Been having mixed feelings the way Markus is going with his club sound since the summer months and how LA 12' will turn out. Really hope he stays true with the CLHR sound on the comp and not go too clubby, at least one cd.
But yea he never disappoints live. There will be many new tracks and I'm pretty excited for that. He may even sneak a song or two from his next album which he has started working on. |

definitely planning to check this out. haven't seen markus play a long set in a while - last 2 times were at the electric zoo, where he played the usual festival sets. it'll be interesting to hear all the new tracks from Los Angeles '12!
any of you people interested in a meetup? it'd be great to hang out with a few unicorn slayer fans before the gig.
the best part about this whole deal - Axwell. really hoping that all the raver kids and wannabe scenesters will go crowd out somewhere else! |

| hmmm i am considering coming to this but I have not really been liking where markus is headin altho havent really listened to him much in the past year or so (ive been converted into an A&B/tatw/anjuna fanatic). too much techno ish stuff, too repetitive for my taste - get bored of gdjb most times when i catch it. would you guys recommend I show up for the first half or the second half of his set to avoid above mentioned repeptiveness. |

| ^^^ i dunno man, i wouldnt miss a second of it, markus sets and especially his last two at pacha have been on point, blowing the roof off the place. a new mix compilation and remixes to TBT2, going to be throwing down bombs to say the least. |

His first half is typically 128-132 bpm banger techy stuff. Common songs I suppose would be Mansion by Ashley & Gareth, his Dakota stuff (Sleepwalkers comes to mind), then later on would be more prog-trance in the mid BPM range. Beat Service - Outsider, Orjan - Between the Rays, Fallen Angel, etc.
I personally love the way he structures his sets. There's no cheese, and each section of energy is very drawn out, so he ends up being able to build energy through a 5 or 6 hour set mindblowingly well.
I haven't gotten TBT2 yet, is it good? |
