Last one was mega long, so let's do a workout thread for the new year. After I got my apartment and was able to cook whatever I wanted I kinda... let myself go lol. Gained like 20 pounds. I just started P90X2, so I'll post pictures after the 90 days if I do well.
Anyone else need to get back on it? Anyone been killing it? Let's do this! |

Hell yes. I gained loads of weight about 12 months ago, which I still need to loose.
I've been eating healthy for the past two months and have already lost a fair amount of weight, and since I got back from Mexico I've been in the gym every other day.
So fingers crossed I'll be in a lot better shape in a few months. |

| I stopped eating healthy and stopped exercising, so I put on weight. Garbage in -> Garbage out. Eat like , you will perform like . I really gotta stay focused and take my time. Each day will bring new challenges so I have to be prepared. One day at a time. |

| Healthy eating has been really easy for me...... finding the time to go to the gym around work and social events however, is proving to be my challenge. |

What does eating healthy mean? Skipping junk-food? Cooking own food? Is bread considered eating unhealthy?
I've stopped eating french-fries and dressings, but my main problem is Cola/Pepsi. Can't seem to let them go, including chocolate, but in moderate measures. I walk a lot each day, but still am fatter than holy hell. Gym isn't an option in the foreseeable future due to medical issues.
All I want is to be hot so I can bitchez.
OT: I don't smoke, drink or use recreational drugs. |

I started exercising again, and my goal is to get fit in one hundred days.
I've run 90 kilometres already this year (according to Nike+), I'm taking thermogenics (5 grams per day), and I'm taking whey protein and Endurox R4 as supplements. Anyone else take this stuff?
By the way, I'm addicted to running thanks to Nike+. It's an awesome tool!

Bread isn't good for you if it's using refined flour and such. Try to use 100% whole grain bread. No junk food, prepare your food with minimal oil and sugar, more fruits and veggies, and try to take it easy on the meat and cheese. You can still lose weight and eat unhealthy things but it's all about moderation. One small piece of dark chocolate every other day won't hurt you at all.

If you can't go to the gym, then why are you drinking Pepsi and eating chocolate? That should be blatantly obvious. |

I'm not expert, but all I've done is cut out any take aways (although I allow myself one on Saturdays lol), I've skipped junk food, french fries, burgers etc. Then it's just a case of being sensible, whether I'm eating out or cooking myself.... lots of fish/seafood, fruit and vegetables, as well as the occasional pasta dish.
It also helps to watch calorie intake, I rarely go over 1,500 calories per day. |

Ah yes, almost forgot about this!
Considering I'm someone who drinks copious amounts of vodka (normally with Coke), I've had to change my drinking slightly. Not the amount of vodka, that would be stupid :p, but I've just changed the Coke I drink to Coca-Cola Zero..... zero sugar, zero fat and less than 1 calorie per glass.
Sorted. |

All the dieticians I know (yeah, the two of them :D) claim Coca-Cola Zero gives you an egg-shaped stomach just as much as ordinary Coke. I don't know if it's just their inherent hatred for fizzy drinks but I'm starting to cut it down gradually.
Even though I really love Pepsi :( |

Because I simply can't stop. The feeling you get on that first taste of Coca Cola. It's like orgasm in your mouth. It's like I can taste the endorphin ready to release. It's like love, happiness at the same time. It's like the realization of the soul - kinda when you hear it the first time that the girl you like, likes you too. Like a passionate kiss from Kate Beckinsale.
Then you swallow.
And you can feel it in the back. Kinda like an ambient touch of every receptor located in one's spine. The muscles tremble with joy and you feel like floating above the sky.
This is why I drink Coca Cola.
OT: You're talking here to the king of KFC. I used to go there twice a day. I was one of the few with a KFC membership card. When I stopped going so often (my rule of thumb now is max once a week and skip the fries), the chick at the counter started asking me where I had gone.
btw, she always gave me three of those wet napkins. I think she wanted to bang me. |
