| Got one myself. Doesn't add anything just yet but it's good to have my name sorted out early before anyone else ;). Maybe they'll add some more features and it could be cool. I doubt it will add anything on the long run. |

Beatport sent me an invite email. Apparently if I sign up they give me three further invite codes to share. |

i think this is gonna be huge for producers and DJs in the future because if you look at the feedback tab it seems like they are still working on integrating alot of things, including mixcloud, linking to tracks on beatport with beatport DJ & various other thigns.
they are already on the right track and doing well so imagine a year from now?
I'm almost positive that this will be the primary profile source of information for artists in the future, and that being said - having a clean URL really helps instead of something like /nightshift2006 or something.
if you have the chance to get an invite i suggest you grab your URL fast before it gets more exposure cuz it s already blowing up lol.

| I'm thinking the complete opposite to be honest. It might become a nice addition for promotion to the dj audience, but, as long as beatport doesn't find it's way to the mainstream audience these pages will mean next to nothing in the bigger picture. |
