Deadmau5 slams Madge's drug quip

Madonna has come under fire from dance DJ Deadmau5 for allegedly glamorizing drug use at a recent concert.
The Material Girl whipped fans into a frenzy after making a surprise visit to the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Florida on Saturday.
In video footage of her appearance, Madonna can be heard using the word 'molly', a slang term for MDMA - the chemical name for ecstasy, which is a popular drug among electronic music fans.
She shouted to the crowd, "How many people in this crowd have seen molly?"
But Canadian star Deadmau5 was less than impressed with Madonna's comment.
In a post on his Facebook.com page, he writes, "Very classy there madonna. 'HUR DUR HAS ANYONE SEEN MOLLY???' such a great message for the young music lovers at ultra.
"Quite the f'n philanthropist. but hey, at least yer HIP AND TRENDY! f**king cant smack my head hard enough right now."
Madonna sparked controversy after naming her upcoming album MDNA, an abbreviation of her name which is believed to be a play on MDMA.

| with all due respect i have my issues with the guy from the past, but he has a good point, with someone as Big as Madonna pushing MOLY aka MDMA to kids all it does is give a bad image to dance music. it automatically associates the drug with this genre of music. really simple .... |

deadmau5 has a point on this one
EDM artists have worked so hard to get their music out of the "rave" dungeon and madonna shows up and ruins it...
me, i see it as a blatant PR attempt to promote her new album |
