Now you're an expert on formation football and you knew this would happen all along, and knew better than all the bookmakers or professional sport journalists who also had Germany as the favorite going in? Italy (unexpectedly) stepped it up, that's it.
I was going off Italy's performance in the cup so far, which had been pretty ing poor, especially as it was against mediocre/poor teams, and barely scoring. Ballotelli has one (yes a single) shot on goal the match before which lasted 130 mins. Italy had 65% possssion against England and did nothing with it.
It was Italy's attack that won this game. They demoralized Germany with early goals. and as for germany "kicking the out of small useless teams"? You Mean Portugal, Netherlands and Denmark and Greece? Yeah, tiny, little useless teams right there. Jesus.

Credit where due though, the Italy that played today, was not the same performance as any of their previous torney games . Well played to them - they completely defeated the odds, not to mention the firm favorite.
