what an absolutely incredible night, didnt think it was possible but the la 12 parties were bested last night!
khomha vs markus was mind boggling, they were dropping bombs after bombs with no remourse or sign of holding back.
im glad markus closed the night with new stuff instead of playing classics(not really my cup of tea). the scream vocal songs all sound incredible!

yep I had a blast. We got in at 10:45 and there was no way we were gonna last til 7. Left at 5. Solid amount of weirdos and cracked out people at that point, always amusing.
Regarding getting in - first of all, it's pretty simple - buy will call tickets! I noticed a lot of people on the boards here rely on guestlist, and my guess is that it's because they are last minute planners. Well, if that's you, then don't complain about having to wait in line for a long time for a show with soldout presales. I have heard from friends that Wantickets has been pretty good with letting people transfer tickets so I recommend you buy them, if you think you wanna go, and then sell them if you change your mind. Wantickets even warns you when they're about to sell out. With will call it took us about 20 minutes to get in, which is not too bad.
Anyway, I REALLY liked Markus's set from 12:30 - 3. Really good back n forth between techy, deep, and dark vs. uplifting stuff. Glad the cryo was working - it was SO HOT in there. Only after about 3 did it get better when ppl started leaving.
The b2b with Khomha was good but I thought it got a little too dark at times and I need a little uplifting respite. Khomha's ~30 mins by himself were really good - this kid is definitely an up and comer although his style is really similar to Markus which is both good and bad. But overall I was impressed with him, and his opening set was great too.
Also I love that Avalon has truly embraced Markus. The club itself had unicorn gogo dancers (Which were hilarious, IMO) and a giant unicorn in the lobby (Check instaram for pics) with a hot girl sitting on it (must be nice to get paid for that). The crowd had a few posters and inflatable unicorns, and a good amount of custom shirts, so that was really cool to see.
Also at some point in the night some chick threw her bra up on stage and Markus danced with it for a bit - that was pretty funny.

... might i add avalon did a really nice job with the setup for that night .. stage was wonderful .. lights were great .. i especially loved the fog machine taking us into the next stage of markus & khomha .. LOL .. unreal :eek:

Avalon can suck my . Absolutely the last time going there. Total buzz kill of a night. Will call line was a joke, they were too busy collecting cash from the high rollers to take care of the people that already paid. By the time we got in the main floor was closed so we got stuck upstairs in the breath of hell. To cool of we would head into the lounge. A friend of mine did that and got locked in. No way out!!!!! They literally locked people in that had paid to see Markus. Eventually a riot broke out and my friend got kicked out. Are you ing kidding me?? Who locks doors to an event you pay for. So retarded. So basically I spent over an hour trying to find out where she had gone. Once I found out my night was over. I love Markus but until he chooses a new venue to play at I will never see him again. you Avalon and all your staff!!!!!

That sucks. I have never seen anyone get kicked out of Avalon and I have seen people caught doing all sorts of things. Was good seeing you for all 30 seconds.

what time did you show up at avalon? even with pre-sales, i am always there before 10:15 since they usually close off the dance floor by 11:15.
