other than skrillex and maybe a few other 18+ electro acts on fri night, this is the fastest ive seen an avalon sat night show sell out. |

| the show didnt sell out...presales sold out. avalon only posts half of the tickets up via pre-sale. get it right, don't lie to the australian. |

why are you taking things so offensively? yah the tickets sold out, but we did tell the cat to be at the door to get tickets .. we never told the guy to piss off .. jesus :eyes:

i know how to read buddy, i'm not as cool as you and don't get on artist comps every show so i've bought a pre-sale ticket or 2 in my day.
when you visit giant.wantickets.com, what does it say for the show? SOLD OUT.
is it completely sold out? no, but pre-sales are SOLD OUT. |

Thanks for the info guys. In Australia, they sell tickets a different way so just wanted to see how you guys do it. Will be lining up at the door at 9 on the night.
Will be in LA from the 5th - 13th so I'll be attending any trance night on during that time. |

not sure how old you are .. but this is what you can expect at avalon that night especially with markus around -- expect a crowded dance floor (shoulder to shoulder) from 11 to maybe 4 ..
a "wtf" upstairs .. and i call it the "wtf" upstairs because when you go up there and look around .. "wtf" is all you can really say .. and i've been going to avalon for a good 4 years now and i still say "wtf"
the smoking patio is first floor outside on the right .. there's 2 entrances 1 by the front right and one by the back right .. i'd normally navigate through that patio if you need to use the restroom which is in the back (or front, how ever you see it).
if u get onto the dance floor (hopefully you do if you are in the front of the line) -- don't head out because they usually block the entrance off for "safety". just loop through the smoking patio to go back inside onto the dance floor.
what else? take a taxi :) don't drink n' drive because it's cop central.
there is no dress code .. t-shirt & jean it up .. unless you want to dress to impress .. but it'll probably be 70/30 guy/girl ratio

this is the key point for anyone that has not been to avalon before... get there early to ensure access to the main dance floor, and do not leave the downstairs area (or else you won't be allowed back in, and will have to watch from the 'wtf' upstairs). use the restrooms on the bottom floor even if the line is long, don't get tricked into going to the upstairs restrooms. there are also tiny restrooms above the tiny bar to the right of the stage, but not sure if they let people up there any more...
anyway, have fun! this night will be epic :) |

There's actually 3 entrances, one before the bar and another one after the bar, the last one being all the way to the front. |
