The problem in the world of EDM today is that trance is like a bad word. If you let it be known that you're a fan of trance, you get looked at as if you have a dick plastered on your forehead. And quite frankly, for good reason. I went to the ASOT tent at Ultra this past March, and I was quite frankly embarrassed. More fruitiness in there then the Skittles factory. Left and went to the Ibiza tent and watched actual good DJs throw it down.
But anyways, the good trance DJs (Orkidea, Solarstone, etc) are so overshadowed because the mainstream guys come off as fruity gayness. So the entire genre is dismissed by fans of other genres. |

People who concern themselves with the politics of the scene tend to be boring cunts that talk about TA style topics out in a nightclub like it was their first time off of their leash. Its a ing guy playing music to a bunch of people that want to get ed up and get laid. Some want to hear good music, but I don't think you go to those types of parties.
People that want to be underground are massive bellends too. Nothing, and I mean nothing is underground anymore. It's literally impossible to be when you live in a world that in a few clicks of a mouse you can see an Iraqi school teacher do something to a camel that would cause a Victorian's head to implode.
Its a (guy/girl) playing music with (records/cd/mps/wav/wooden spoons) to a bunch of (drunk/high/aids/fire beaver) twats and s there for the (music/drugs/drugs/booze/minge/cock/bear anus/drugs/more anus/cowbell). You shouldn't care so much, because honestly it makes you look like a massive loser which is ironic in the sense that people want to be this "scene" because they think its cool. No. I've been around enough to tell you that you are the twats that makes women hold their purse tighter because of the jittery exited twat in the corner who isn't dancing but is happier than everyone in the place because he can pretend not to hear when people tell him to shut his minge when he constantly tries to "impress" people with his opinion that veracocha - carte blanche is actually an in depth trance opera bringing you to the
feudal bottle service dark ages of the scene in 1600's Bavaria. They say scene 700 times a night. They feel good because people always recognize them, but it isn't because they think you are cool and part of the super duper vibe omg sunset sunrise destination moon scene...it's because everyone in the club is given their picture to make sure that this person never finds out about the real party when the club closes. The party that actually resembles the "real deal" from yesteryear that you are writing about on your scene blog, while people are doing insane things on a dancefloor. So many dicks and pussies you need security googles.

Yeah I know that I've made some comments that are potentially divisive, but if people are so quick to take me for an idiot just because they don't see things the same way as me, they deserve to have their own idiocy exposed.
Interesting point re the vote for the worst one. Although I suspect she was still a far better singer than Paris is a DJ, and therefore the risk of this turning into a Frankenstein's monster seems negligible. |
