Dave Seaman says it as a joke, this guy makes a website out of it and thinks he's going to save the scene.

Don't defend me, it's entertaining to see this jobber dig himself deeper. I think the general rule of thumb is the more someone says the word scene, the more they are a noob to it. This isn't the 90's. There are social circles, but it isn't the communal ways of the days of old. It's a great thing. I wish I would have had clubs like there are today, because as cool as partying in a warehouse sounds, it's dirty, it smells, sound, candy tards....The only scene that exists now is this spectacle that you are making of yourself(OP).
to OP:
I don't know how long you've been into this, but everything points to raging noob that reads about the scene so that he can think he sounds cool the 2 nights a year he goes to see some sissy trance show to cry at the lasers. It's not even mean, you reek of it. If you haven't noticed, everyone is disagreeing with you not because you are a dick (even if you are, never forget that), but because you are essentially talking a bunch of nonsense to people that have been into this kind of music for 2+ decades.
Its like that viral video about the girl teaching to mix when it was obviously the first time she ever tried.
Go sit in a corner, think long and hard at your ideas in this thread and the reasons for it. You are willing to commit a big chunk your time (which means you probably have 0 life...yay team scene!) to something super constructive that will revolutionize nothing other than having another punching bag around here.
After this peaceful reflection in the corner if the answer is anything other than, "Holy did I look like some Menudo super fan". Go back and rinse and repeat. you, and that giraffe necked ski footed whore Paris Hilton.

I think an Armin monopoly would be better than a Guetta one, because he actually DJs, the music is more to my taste, he isn't getting most of his votes from pop fans (which if they vote due to liking his pop, not DJing, detracts from the aim of the poll), he won't encourage DJs to think they can just make hit records and fake it, and he isn't sending out the message of make pop and get super rich.
Probably more reasons if I wanted to spend more than a couple of minutes considering it.
How is like this different from the stuff guetta and afrojack plays the man is a moron.
These are just ear bleeding noise which is the same that those commercial stars play.

O.k., only just seen this. Bull. I had the site live Sat evening, after the developer rushed it through in a couple of days. This has been in development since the opening evening of the voting, when I independently had the idea - for the record it wasn't until the next morning that I saw memes popping up, so I wasn't even inspired by anyone at all.
Talla 2xlc put it on his fb friends page when I saw him talking about Paris Hilton at 7pm on Saturday. The Thrillseekers LOL'd at it when I put it on his page around the same time. have it on their fb page from.
The only reason I got in touch with Dave today, was due to it being immediately after me doing a google search to see who else I could rally support from, and he came up on the listings. I wasn't even a member of his fan page until joining it immediately before sending the fb message - which a screen shot could easily verify. I was speaking to John 00 Flemming's press agent over the weekend too, and got a response from the man himself.
Obviously some trolls are going to say I'm lying so: why the hell would I distribute it to my friends list on the weekend, then manually approach some DJs I regularly interact with, for the music I'm into, if I'd somehow gained inspiration from a DJ who doesn't play anything like the music easily found on my fb trance group?
I think you'll see at this stage that Dave had a humility fail at worst, or giving him the benefit of the doubt just presumed I had actually seen it on his page, after me joining it today; he can no doubt confirm this by his page analytics, if you want to stir the pot.
The only reason I hadn't called him out on it, is because I thought it would be divisive and detract from the campaign's goal for me to be bitching about who thought of it first.
I also messaged Max Graham's page asking him if he wanted to share it, on Sunday.

And the "I know people name drop" comes in earlier than ever. Next stop "Let's see you do better."...population disconulated.
I should link Max to this thread and have him type Dave Dresden a few times so we can really turn this thread into a penis swinging thunderdome.

Me messaging him on his fb page is name dropping is it? Interesting. I didn't know there was anything wrong with trying to clear my name of what is essentially libel. By all means get him to verify this.

Don't worry, I believe you. The point is not that you ripped Dave Seaman off (and what a brilliantly original idea it is), but that he, like most people, thinks of this as a joke, a prank. If you weren't so laughably serious about causing an "underground renaissance", we'd probably be on your side, but 'round these parts we don't like people who get too self-important.

that, we don't like anyone. We are like the secret witches of electronic music.
T4T, what you have to understand is that trance fans are a little ummm special, so we deal with topics like best trance to give birth to and thousands of amateur trance mixes (with all the same songs)named after nature or some other faggy . You being completely like Napolean and attempting to capture Russia is almost as pathetic as it is hilarious.
Trance fans are so retarded, that the majority of posters here don't listen to it and just come to lol at tranceplurgay.

Well I have to say something or seem like a total prick, so I'll say as much as I can at this stage. I have a product which should be coming to market in the short term, it's one that everyone will want. Really does have massive potential. I also have a 2nd site further down the line which could be an integral part of industry promotions. A couple of less exciting music sites integrate into this too. I really do feel that the poll is outdated and it being in this format give people more reason to bitch than smile and can be done in a much better way. I figured that with enough exposure for this, and from the game changing product yet to launch, I'd be in a position to say to DJ Mag, change and give the people what the ask for, or I'll do one myself. I know they don't make any money themselves, but figured that it would help increase awareness and take up of my other sites, and that would mean I could offer a poll as the people, not the polls backers corporate men want.

The thing is, it gets done or mentioned at least 37 times a week. Yours just happened to get attention because you put paris hilton as who you would like to win right after she horrified the dj world and proved once and for all that there is no god.
don't think you are doing something new or different. you got lucky at an opportune moment, but by tomorrow no one will give a because you can't really take any of this as seriously as you do.
