After all your high-talk regarding music, theory, and art, this is your definition of a good mix?? |

a recorded mix that isn't live. Pretty much. The reasons are quite logical to me. I also don't get why you say I high talk with theory. Yes, i like to talk about music in musical terms. I don't think i'm purposefully using language that might be technical and field specific for the sake of being clever.
I think System J would like to keep the bull to a minimum so maybe save your contempt for another thread. |

| i yearn for a madforbrad review. |

if i did, it would be long , full of ty prose and most of all pointless.
I will review your home made porn flics tho. I will describe your dick with at least 20 words that are kinda related. In the writing bizz, we call these synonyms. |

| i will add just a little criticism that isn't musical in nature. I think a track list with actual time markers or comments on the stream ( i think soundcloud lets you add markers, not 100% sure ) that tell people what is playing something every dj should. If someone hears something they like, they should be able to just pause, check the time and know what is playing. Ideally, all djs did this and increased sales to a point where people didn't have to dj because they can't make money producing. I think the main point of djing when it isn't live is to present music and letting people know what it is you are playing when instantly without searching a good thing for everyone. |

mixcloud (example) has an automated system that does this (when you upload something, you have to set track markers). They even give you buy links for every track. Heck, you even can get a buy list off all tracks in the mix.
The problem is their site is just for mixes and their interface is worse than soundcloud's. Also, soundcloud was there first. Everbody is on soundcloud but only a few people use mixcloud. But we'll see what happens in a few years. Maybe soundcloud eventually integrates mixcloud's technology into their site, who knows. |

I was thinking about doing this because a lot of people have said "I liked the track at [xx:xx minutes]". I'll go back through the set and leave Soundcloud comments when each new track starts. |

| And since I'm here anyways - I listened to this a while ago but forgot to comment. I usually don't like this neurofunk/dark style of drum & bass but I enjoyed this mix because a lot of the tracks have a more euphoric edge in addition to the usual bass-wankery. The contrast between dark and euphoric can make for very interesting tracks. Same reason for why I'm a MCprog-whore :p |

| instead of singularity, it should be continuity because of the way it is mixed .i work out to this....BAMMMMMMMM 20 more hits.:p |

I'll give this a whirl I heard good things. I have been listening to past episodes of LM1's show, indigo sync and some other archives from bassdrive(not all of the shows are mint), so not totally keen on this type of drum and bass lately.
Btw this upcoming release looks promising, should probably check it out.
