They should post the ages of everyone that voted.. i have a good feeling that between the range of 18yrs<------->100yrs old, the standard mean will be at 17 yrs old ; )

btw ... digweed barely made it :nervous:

you serious?
guy has done more harm than good, just like the rest of the poll. seem's if you can produce one track called "levels" and play commercial bull you're one of the best...gtfo.
look back 10 years ago, imo the music still mattered.
now its a bunch of noobs voteing for hardwell at #6 and digweed is 98, sasha, hernan cattaneo,dj vibe etc etc are all past 100
come on!!! i mean yes i will say armin is dedicated and should be in the top 5, everything else is a joke

More harm than good? Guetta maybe, but not Armin. Trance would be completely irrelevant if it wasn't for him. He's done a lot for the scene including supporting the "true" trance sound that you're probably belly aching over and supporting small artists. Guy has stayed true to his heart and is just a down to earth, hard working guy. If anyone is gonna take the top spot in this popularity poll that get's so much attention, I would want it to be a guy like Armin who actually knows how to DJ and is actually somewhat underground compared to Guetta, Avicii, etc. I think we all know it's a joke Digweed and co are lower than Skrillex, but this is a popularity poll...not very shocking to me. I don't see how this poll is much different than 10 years ago other than it's even more producer centric now.

Only positive thing on this list is that Aly & Fila somehow moved into the Top 20 despite people saying uplifting trance is dying...also funny to see the backfire on Ferry changing his style, I expect Above & Beyond to be out of the top 10 next year with their boring "trance" 2.0 sound. As for Armin, I don't think he's the best trance DJ and I didn't vote for him, but he deserves it the most out of all the other commercial names in that list. His two sided approach to trance works pretty well...the first hour of his radio show/live sets is mostly just pop trance concrete angel style and commercial dance which appeals to 15 year old girls, but for the 2nd half he still does support banging/uplifting/pure trance from some underground producers that captures fans of that type of style.
