| Apparently it's based on Luke, Leia, and Han. The original actors are really old by now and recasting would just be wrong. These 3 characters ARE Star Wars! |

Lucas will apparently be a "creative consultant", so he's definitely going to be in the way.
That being said, he couldn't have gone to a better company with this.
Now if only he would also give back the IPs of Monkey Island, Maniac Mansion/Day of the Tentacle and Full Throttle to their creators...

| Being a Creative Consultant doesn't mean he'll have much input on the final product. Gene Roddenberry was a Creative Consultant on most of the Star Trek movies, including Wrath Of Khan, which he intensely disliked. Didn't stop it from being the best damn movie of that franchise. |
