Trying to maximize profits by reducing the cost of bottle service ice. Put your red bull in the snow. Now the festival can make $0.67 more

When was the last time it was -40 in Toronto? Ya cause people can't stand outside because they aren't moving.

The weather really shouldn't be a concern. If you dress appropriately, you'll be fine.

They had a meteorologist come to Igloofest one night to take temperature readings inside and outside the crowd, and it was a whole 10 degrees warmer inside.

Will they give out free blankets during the party?:p

People are overlooking the fact that they will be actively moving at this event.

I just hope it snows that night (contrary to wanting no rain in the summer). It will make the event much more enjoyable.

I don't think anybody has a problem with festivals being held in this city...

...I think the issue some people have concerns the booking policy of some of them. It's like Toronto is a revolving door for the likes of Lawler/Dubfire/Avicci/C&C/Infected Mushroom/etc., and they're guaranteed to be booked here multiple times every year, regardless of if they've put anything new out or are doing anything currently relevant. These festivals would be just as successful, if not more successful, if they switched it up and brought reputable (key word), fresh faces. It's not like a festival in Toronto is guaranteed to fail if Lawler/C&C/etc aren't on the bill, the city deserves a bit more credit then that...

FYI, the guys who keep coming through and playing all the big shows are the same guys who can also be found on the bill's of most major festivals around the world. It's not a Toronto specific thing.

this. as long as the temp is below zero, it should be fine. the worst would be if it hovers just above zero and it rains. i can only imagine the mess.

snow>rain

Word. Boogying in a snow suit while it's snowing at night will be a winter wonderland!
