There's two pre-sales, acutally
One is today and another is tomorrow. I know, doesn't make much sense. |

Today is Thursday, December 6. Look at what you originally posted. I used the "harmony" password and it worked :) |

Totally. There is zero cheddar. I would have thought someone like Afrojack or Avicii would have already been announced to get that crowd on board for the pre-sale. So now, I'm curious if they'll announce some mainstream artists to attract a more diverse crowd, or if this event will be filled with heads. |

This has amazed me since moving here. Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City all have much colder temps and you never hear complaints. Each city has many multiple large winter festivals and activities and there's just as much to do in the winter as summer. You come to Toronto and it'll be 10-15 degrees warmer but everyone bunkers down in their house like its Nunavut or something. |
The body only feels relative temperature, so its not that hard to understand why. How hot was it in Toronto in the summer, fall and last winter? It was 16 degrees on Monday. So for a 30 degree swing within a few weeks (even a few days) is pretty massive, and hard for a body to adjust to.
Plus if we actually had stuff to do outside in the winter I think people would complain less. But just being downtown in the giant wind tunnels, with cold temps sucks.
The key to it all is activities. This event will help. As a kid the cold didn't really bother me, because I was outside all the time. As an adult, I spend less time outside during the winter, and it get's hard to put up with. Hiking in the mountains in BC in winter was amazing, and the cold wasn't a factor at all. -15, and 4 meters of snow, but incredible. |
