It's funny people here complain about how cold it is, when people in much colder areas than Toronto always go out during the winter.
Dress up, it's not that bad.

It's great. As long as you dress smart, the weather doesn't measure into it. Your beer will turn to slush if you don't drink fast enough on the really cold nights, but that's about it.
Being outside in the winter adds immensely to the atmosphere. I've never seen so many people really get into an event. The entirety of the 10,000 person crowd (on a sold out night, of which there were at least 5 out of 9 last year) is moving. I don't know if they're doing it to keep warm or not, but you can really tell *everyone* is having the time of their life.
It's so successful here that they went from one weekend in 2007, to two in 2008, to three in 2009, and finally four weekends this year.
And that's with average temps of -15 to -20 every night. I've been on some nights where it was 5 degrees, and the coldest I think was -35 or so, but still always good.
----
Also, I'm not talking out of my ass based on one or two experiences. I've been to 35 of the 40 nights they've had since their first year. Admittedly, I might have a bit of a pro-Igloofest bias.

This has amazed me since moving here. Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City all have much colder temps and you never hear complaints. Each city has many multiple large winter festivals and activities and there's just as much to do in the winter as summer. You come to Toronto and it'll be 10-15 degrees warmer but everyone bunkers down in their house like its Nunavut or something.

easiest would be a wooden deck i guess.
Sleightful
If there's a decent snowfall this sounds like it could be a lot of fun. If it rains, not so much.

I see that Footwork is involved so maybe all the djs won't be predictable!
