First of all, the two men were hugging, not making out or ing.
Second, you should've ignored the photo and looked away as apparently you would do if you saw two men kissing in public, instead of going out of your way to comment on it saying it's disgusting and gross. No one asked you to "cheer on it". I have no doubt that I have other men on my FB that didn't like the picture and feel the same way you do. But they did the respectful thing and looked away instead of bashing it.
By the way, it won't be the last gay picture I post, so go ahead and delete me from your list if such things offend your sensibilities.
Some of the I see some people post on FB is dumb as , in my view. Some religious friends of mine post crap I completely disagree with, but I don't go out of my way to bash them or their views. So don't be so shocked that my friends called you out on your comments. |

to be honest, Eric, I think the reason why you (and a lot of men) get this sort of treatment (being called a gaybasher/homophobe/etc/whatever) is that your view/voice of disgust might seem over the top? for example, if you had just said, "meh" instead of "yuck" (or that comment afterwards that could be viewed as patronizing) then the reaction back to you wouldn't have been so much.
clearly, in your posts here it is evident that you aren't homophobe, aliking your digust of two dicks to two pineapples. likewise, also in every single comment (that i've read, at least), you didn't mention anything about restricting the two dudes rights/existence/etc... or wish any violence upon them. you just don't want to see two dicks in the same space.
however, on the flip side, your continued talk about it is what is getting all the attention. that and it's towards human beings. you can blab all you want about how ty pineapples are, but those are just food items that (for all intensive purposes) have no real "rights" as human beings do.
I can understand how some folks feel that you should feel indifferent about it. that people are people and who gives a , right? got it. but on the other hand, when you hear the word gay, do you immediately think of two dicks?
