So you're saying a GTR isn't capable of these tasks?

Apparently any car with ABS is not fun to drive. Also lol @ "horse powers"

I don't like GTR's either. It's like those idiots who spend a $100k souping up their ty jap cars or golfs with Nitro etc. Just get a proper sports car, rather than a plastic toy.

Talking of which, Maclaren just announced plans for their new, wait for it......

........908HP(!) sports cars, which will also be a plug in hybrid(!!)

not sure how you manage to work in your environment and not drive a hybrid. Or do you have both in case one of your clients is all hollywood and .

Didn't want them any different, like this or none.
Also if I wouldn't work that close to home I probably wouldn't have had them.

I read about that one in a car magazine last week. Let's wait and see if it can beat the Pagani at Top Gear. Does it fully use the available HP, doubt that. Think in general they should stop adding both if they aren't available at the same time. Still already a very impressive car also from a technical point of view.

Well, the HP is apparently going to be fully used but the reason it's a Hybrid is due to the ever harsher emissions laws in Europe, so about 730HP comes form the Engine and the other 170 comes from the electric motor.

Lol, don't even go there. The parking lot looks like a ing Eco summit held by google execs.

Use of proper sports car here is interesting. Arguably, the GT-R is one of the best remaining sports cars seeing as it has the capabilities to keep up with cars much more expensive than itself. A GT car it is not. Most of the car has been designed in hopes of cutting down lap times and improving cornering. I've driven the new one and have to say it's one of the best things I've ever gotten behind the wheel of.

I agree wholeheartedly with the hatred of the tuner crowd; my cousin owns a 1995 GT-R and his primary focus is to make it overly flashy and, IMO, gaudy. No car needs staggered wheels or multicoloured engine bits...

Basically, that's what I'm saying, yeah.

With my previous comment on ABS, you shouldn't have to be stradamus to guess what decade I prefer when it comes to cars.

(psssst it's the 70's and some 80's)

My first car, though, was a 87 Celica Twin Cam. Got it cheap, because the previous owner had run the pistons dry, so had to replace the engine and some stuff. When I was done with her that baby could pull about four hundo foot-pounds of torque.

So I'm not hating on Jap cars in any way. Just the GT-R. They had it with the Skyline, but they just had to go silly with it.

Dunno why, but something tells me you're full of . You've probably only seen a GT-R in a parking garage. Why on earth would you buy a POS Celica from 87, better yet a blown 87 Celica being in HS or not, and put money into it? Meanwhile you can hate on a GT-R lol. What are u driving now?

LOL. Was going to say that but not trying to be a complete ass. I'm curious as to what the uber car guy has that he can bash a GT-R
