It's also at least a 2005 :tongue3 and the insurance on gas on that thing are just not worth it.
C class is fine for me - I'd look like twat at my age driving around in a S class. Driving is pretty rough here in LA so I also need a care that I don't mind too much if it gets scraped or bumped not to mention valets who always your car.

My parents drive a lot of miles and my brother lives on a small island that is rough on cars despite the low mileage. All are as reliable as sin and never have anything go wrong, although they have purchased them all new or 3 months old.

IMO, this is bollocks. Audi are getting less and less reliable. My GF's family have been audi owners for 20 years (new only) and have owned virtually every model.
Their last A6 (S) had major gearbox problems at 40k and at 80k the car started having other electrical issues so they got rid of it. The currently have a Q7 and an RS4. The RS4 had weird windscreen wiper problems that meant the arm actually cut a groove in the windscreen. Audi replaced the arm and glass but then the seal for the glass wasn't completely waterproof. The Q7 is fine but it's only 4 months old and has the most annoying proximity detection that you can't permanently switch off.
The A3 is crap these days - it's a golf with different interior. |
