Just exercise for 30 minutes when you wake up and eat a salad for lunch. You'll feel great for the rest of the week, I promise. My nurse told me so. |

i can't remember the last time i left my phone in a way it could wake me up. you've got to take sleeping more seriously, man!
i even invested in one of those sleep masks i always used to tease my (shift-working) mother about. im a worthless cunt :D |

Most importantly, is it a landline?
I turn off my phone whenever I go to bed, because some people have trouble understanding that just because they're awake it doesn't mean I am. Unless you need it for eventual emergencies (I just find it unlikely in my case)... |

My phone is also my alarm clock, and it was on silent anyway. And c'mon. It was 1.30am on a Thursday night. Why the hell should I have to legislate against calls at that time? |

Meh, I tried one of those too. I have no problems with light when I go to bed, because it's ing dark, but every time I used it I would wake up (when it got light) with it down around my neck, or it had just completely come off the top of my head and was somewhere in the bed or on the floor.
I guess I flip around a lot when I sleep :o
Edit: I actually thought this was the sleeping thread, but I guess I'm on topic. Thanks, chardonnay :o |

hahaha. that surprises me. you have a huge, bald head. it should hold better!
i agree i find them annoying; mostly its the pressure on my eyelids. but my bedroom gets way too bright to sleep past bum o'clock otherwise. |

Wait, how did your phone wake you up, if it was on silent? I think we can all agree that drunken calls from exes are one of the absolute worst things one can wake up to. I always leave my phone on when I'm sleeping, though, in case there is an emergency and someone needs to reach me. I normally don't have issues getting back to sleep. If I do, as I mentioned above, I'll just read for a while. |

I think the sound of it vibrating against the shelf woke me up, or I was half-awake anyway. I'd only been asleep for about 90 minutes, but I was wide awake afterwards. |
