Yep, yerba matte. I still drink coffee & red bull but I'm trying to ween myself over to just the yerba.

Really? I get cold hands and feet easily. I thought maybe it was a gluten thing. Hadn't heard caffeine is relevant to it. |

I get those too but I've been getting them since way before I started drinking coffee. So I won't jump to conclusions all too hastily if I were you. |

I'm not assuming that's it, just looking for any factors that could possibly contribute. Until last week I never knew it was a symptom of Celiac disease. |

I usually drink one coffee in the morning when I am working early (7 days a week for me now). I'll pop in to Starbucks after lunch for a quick pick me up. After work, if I don't feel like drinking beer (rarely lol) I will have a Coke Zero.
If I go out/play and get too smashed before working in the AM, I will have a Red Bull. Here it is the real deal from Thailand ( Krating Daeng), not the fake stuff from North America. It is intense, so I really try to avoid it. If you are about to work hungover on 3 hours sleep, it is a Godsend.
If I have a rare long morning, I will probably down 4 cups of coffee. |

I drink a ton of coffee... like offensive amounts of coffee. I don't believe I have a dependancy on caffine; however, as I have never experienced any discernable symptoms on days when I either go well into the day before my first coffee or I don't have any at all (granted, those days are very rare). |

Interesting thing that happened once I went black coffee. Now I can NOT drink it with any milk or sugar.
My dishwasher at work thought he was doing me a favour by adding to my coffee. And when he asked about milk or cream I was like "No, black, plain." But little did I know he'd already put a spoon of sugar in it, not stirred, and when I got about halfway through the coffee it was disgusting syrup at the bottom. |
That's why he's the dishwasher and not the coffeeman :) |

system j, your health isn't really a priority to me but stay away from energy drinks. I honestly can't think of anything you can put in your body that is as quite as toxic that they sell legally at a store. They really are that bad. You might as well just buy caffeine pills and drink water.
There was new stimulant that was being sold a few years ago. Less side effects , used by the military. A body building health nut was telling me about it. CAn't remember the name but it it is at least 6-7 years old and not restricted as far as I know. Just can't remember the name.
You can always sprinkle a little bit of adderall xr i your water, Still a million times less toxic tan those energy drinks.
I find tea is still your best bet. Green tea will give you enough caffeine that if you drink it while you work, you will get a boost but not so much that you crash after. |

Stress in general taxes the adrenals and kidneys - heavy caffeine use falls into that category. I have a few clients who consume a lot of coffee and don't have this symptom, but they tend to be the exception and not the rule. |
