Yah, I guess whatever takes precedence in your likes. Every time I have been to the Bitterroot Valley (all 2 times!) I have loved the natural beauty of it. Only been as far south as Lolo, but its still pretty, especially coming east over the pass through central Idaho.
Everything between the Rockies and coast, and from the Siskiyous to the border are my favorite parts of this country. Our little bastion surrounded by mountains and the sea.
*edit*
This is like a conversation for record or something... Seeing all this ground has been covered by us, more of a circle jerk about which part of the west is prettier. :tongue2 |

Also I think we need to switch the most reclusive TAs from the PNW to CO. We seem to have a lot of them and they never meet up ever it seems. At least we sorta try up here.
*edit*
Also they never seem to advertise they are in CO lol. I had no idea where Jason and Hal lived for the longest time. |

Never been, but would like to visit. I can though understand the "overrated" thing though. I am not sure why I want to visit London, or what I'd want to see there... :p
Of the international cities I've been to, which is sadly not that many, I'd say Istanbul is the most amazing, even over where I've visited in Japan. I don't think I'd want to live in Istanbul, but the whole city is just crazy. |
I actually have never been, but I've read lots. Apparently, if you're not making enough doh, London isn't for you. No-brainer it seems, and even if it's within reach, London appears to be a filthy grimy city to some? Please share your experiences as I have never been.
My relatives are from Merseyside, so I automatically prefer the North English countryside. I would have absolutely no problem living in either Liverpool or Manchester. Then again, one would miss out on the multicultural aspects of London. Well, what about Cambridge or Oxford(?) I hear they are all an hour away from London(?)
Oh dear, I've never been, but I'm an Anglophile at heart! God save the Queen! ( I mean it man). |

| Another nice thing about living in the UK is having access to Scotland, oh how I love Scotland! It's a beautiful country, and I guess Ireland is quite pretty aswell. So much to see.... |

I enjoyed my time in NYC. except ridiculously expensive. honestly, if you have enough buckets of money, you can get a pretty good quality of life no matter where you live.
though too many ing yuppies in Seattle. nobody could tell me where a good place to get drunk was, and one of the bars my group got recommended was a cabaret which had some cross dresser dude asking this chick if she was a virgin and if her mom was with her at the show which was a yes.
only thing cool about Cascadia is the fact that they love soccer, which apparently is unamerican in midwestern states.
PS: Wankouver. bunch of pot smoking commie hippies. expensive as and i was bored less after one day. (though that's where my favourite microbrewery exists) |

Wha-!? :wtf: You went to the wrong neighborhood(s), dude. I'd bet good money that you were either in Pioneer Square or Belltown - two places I would highly recommend staying away from.

PM Lews, Nou or myself next time. Plenty of quality places to get hammered, and the neighborhoods without yuppies far and away outnumber the neighborhoods with yuppies.

You mean a drag show? Seattle loves gays, and gays love drag. If you were at a drag show, chances are you were on Capitol Hill, and there are plenty of good places to get hammered there.

It's un-American pretty much anywhere except Cascadia, LA and NY. Maybe Miami, too, but Florida's a cesspool so it doesn't really count. |

| It's un-American because soccer isn't a sport. |

We also love american football and baseball here, and a lot are still mad that we don't have an NBA team anymore.
The PNW is pretty sports crazy and we are die hard loyal since pretty much every other team hates traveling up here and we get on by the eastern biased sports media ( YOU STEELERS). |

| Well none of the PNW teams are particularly good, with the exception of the Seahawks. |
