It seems to be a concert stage, there is a bunch of videos on Youtube, if you search "williamsburg waterfront" ive read they changed it from few years ago, and there is no longer the grassy area with a nice view but in between 2 walls instead, i think its the same location as Mad Decent party you can youtube that as well |

venue:
some years ago, they used to do these at the empty factory plot between 7-9th street on Kent.
Then the hipsters in the high-rise on the south edge complained, and the place got park-ified and fenced, hasn't been used since as far as I know.
Last year, they moved it to that plot just one block over from Output, so 12-13th on Kent (saw MMJ there, what a parking cluster-f. that was!). That one doesn't have any waterfront views though, its a warehose parking lot, fenced all around.
Maybe they're using the one a few blocks further north, on the edge to Greenpoint, where those free shows were held?
Man, I hate missing that Luciano party, oh well... |

yeah, pretty much there, entrance is at 11th, parks spans from N10th to N12th or N13th...
Personally I like that park, it has a cool vibe... get rid of all the hispters and it's a nice place.. I was there once for a rock concert and I had a lot of fun.. This will be a great spot for this event |

I was under the impression they would be using the Williamsburg Waterfront venue? If so, that would be great. I saw Weezer and a few other bands there over the last couple years.
Anyway, great space and cool venue. With the fireworks from the bay it could be spectacular. Is this not the venue they were talking about? |

I read online thats what it used to be until they moved it a few blocks over, now it looks more industrial. But who know what Verboten has up their sleeves |
