Dual AMD FirePro D500 GPUs with 3GB of GDDR5 VRAM each

Very sweet, you went for the right processor, maybe to much RAM and the right video card for your uses, but I wouldn't have bothered with 1tb flash drive. There's simply no need - it's not like 1tb is big enough to keep all your sample libraries on so 256 or at most 512 would have been enough. I have a 256 ssd in my imac as the OS drive and I even have a ton of media on it such as music (wav) and video (HD) and I'm not even close to 70% full. |

| these aren't out yet. Decided to get one and the ship data is like febrary which means march. Why would you just give some one 4000 to hold for 3 months. It isn't like there will be any wait time |

That's not true. around 80% of the mac pro orders placed within the first week or launch (i.e. last week) will receive their units on December 30th.
The delay for you might be a Canadian customs thing? |

naw , i guess it was their guestimated ship date but it seems some people have already received theirs.
Once i saw the size, i was sold. It is pretty much a mobile computer. You can easily transport these as carry ons. |

how wide is gold really? |
the soundstage of platinum actually surpasses gold 10k fold. |

| the soundstage? do you mean the components resistance compared to gold? gold isnt that good of a transmitter, its just soft and therefore able to connect good in connectors as its surface "adapt" to the other surface, unlike silver which is a better transmitter yet much more stiff and therefore not suited for being used in connectors. |
