| i downloaded the crack for the install. Same for kontakt. Although technically i didn't pay for the entire thing Komplete , i pretty much use the individual things i paid for. Buying anything boxed is really a block. It makes no sense when sample libraries are like the sitpire collection do all theirs dd. Boxes take up space and then there is the waiting. I assumed everyone did this. |

| Most music stores carry that. I don't know why companies don't use a download system. Most of this stuff is all impulse purchases. |

Saying that, you can buy a USB DVD drive for $20 and leave it in the drawer until you need it. |
That's the entire reason they went modular. My imac has a DVD drive and in 6 years I've maybe used it 60 times (and most of that was for burning CD's for my CDJ which for 99% of the population wouldn't be needed).
Clay is right; you're just meant to connect thunderbolt to the monitor, then everything to the screen. or you can buy a thunderbolt distro hub for under $150 that gives you every connection you could need. |

| I do like the idea of buying a base model 6 core, upping the RAM myself and knowing I'm done with buying a computer for 3-5 years. |

$150? Where? The cheapest one I've seen is the CalDigit one and thats $200. Doesn't even support Thunderbolt 2. |
