as has already been pointed out to you, your assumptions and understandings re the 4th are really quite poor. and no, i wouldn't have claimed "paranoia" over the government sticking its beak into metadata- they've obviously been monitoring websites since forever and i don't really see the difference. it comes as no surprise to me. but then again i actually have a clue about how the world works. back in your box. |

so the ACLU are just doing this to raise their overall operating cost so that they get a bigger budget next year ? Do point out what i don't get. Search and Seizure applies to data. Taking information from a server you haven't been given access to is seizure. Did they have warrants ? Nope. So you have the government taking data that doesn't belong to them without a warrant. Sounds like that might breach the unwarranted seizure part of the 4rth amendment. It doesn't matter what it is. Metadata , are you ready ? , take away meta and what do you get ? It is a form of data you ing twit. Throw meta in front of something and you have government dick sucking bitches convincing the internet its all fine. You metagay retard. |
