I can do that. Not sure which computer it is on though I gotta find it. Been trying to get Andy to do a new remix for it but I guess he's not interested :/

really? Cause last time I checked, if you lost your job, you got free healthcare, your rent paid, free access to computers, free schooling, free prescriptions, free legal advice, free transport and free food, all because other people or yourself had paid for it one time or another.

So don't tell me your don't get of it's slow. The main point is that you already know he's not the freeloader/pirate type. He always buys his and he's only looking for free while he's temporarily flat broke and jobless so you're not missing a sale anyway.

Be thankful that you have money and all those other free things, while someone else might not. And trust me, I get the argument. My previous career (all 10yrs+) and all the people I worked with relied on people buying the content, not stealing it. But you have to realise that your not losing a sale when someone will never buy it anyway.

Nah man, I've been good to go to be honest. Everything was going great, but my personal life really doesn't matter much here? I never said they had to be commercial. They can be free. I know there are members who post here like alanzo who have commercial banks who probably wouldn't care to give it out. have received other commercial banks directly from the person who made them on this forum before, so lets do that again. not sure everyone wants to just focus on the negatives. I didn't spell out that I want so and so's preset packs. I can't believe people are actually getting hissy pissy over some sample packs lmao

its all good. I would of been forging triplicate prescriptions and dating the anaesthetist if I worked in a hospital. Well not now, but despite my silky smooth skin and incredibly thick hair and i suppose looking 25 , there was a time when i was a rockstar.

And everyone in the music industry steals. I don't know what it is. I think people just feel like because they are in the industry, they shouldn't have to pay for stuff. I mean there are some big wigs that will still just download a movie. Its just simpler. I mean they could have it delivered to their door in half an hour but its just a pita.

Unemployed? There's never been a greater opportunity to actually learn Diva, starting with factory presets and changing filter cutoff to start with. Adjusting attack and decay on envelopes - that's not scary, trust me, thay won't bite. Then go for the really advanced stuff like oscillator waveforms and . :haha:

Seriously, learn to turn those knobs and you will have all the presets you ever need.

There's a leap of logic somewhere in here that I can't follow...

Isn't giving something for free to a person who usually pays for it a textbook example of missing out on a sale? And how did "he would be buying it under different circumstances" turn into "he wouldn't have bought it anyway"?

If this had of been anyone else requesting commercial stuff this thread would be long gone as someone would have put a ticket in to digi.

Quite surprised Rann is justifying it, there should be no exception.

can you save presets with the demo?

Free healthcare is PAID for by social security PAYMENTS and TAXES. It's not FREE.

I'm stunned you're justifying his request.

And for the record I do not get anything free if things are slow, there are several dozen criteria you have to meet before you get anything over here now, and as I own property and have equity I am supposed to sell that and move my family into a smaller place if times are hard. That is unless I've never worked and have nothing, then I'm entitled. Go figure.

And no I don't know he pays for anything, I don't know the guy at all.

You do realise that the major factor for the music industry being the way it is, is due to douches like this justifying their non payment of even one or two of the things they use?

We all know it goes on, but to openly ask for it and then try and justify it with any form of argument about the non ability to pay for things ($15 items) while living in the richest nation on earth just reeks of the same kind of entitlement syndrome bull that usually accompanies such arguments.

I mean if somebody came into my house and tried to take $15 from me, and henceforth my child, I would literally tear their ing head off.

Saying you wouldn't have bought something from me anyway is not an argument.

I know pretty much what every single knob in diva does.....yes even the weird ones like Add and Lag. It has nothing to do with a lack of knowledge about the VST.

Yea, and "all my pirated stuff" is paid for by all the other artists who are dumb enough to actually pay for the stuff. What's your point?

I can guarantee I have poured more money (and time, blood, sweat, and even tears) into the music business than 99.9% of the people out there, likely including you, so you need to find somebody else to bitch at for pirating. My vinyl purchases alone total up to over $30,000. My UAD cards and plugs alone cost me more $ than most kids on here have invested in their entire studio. I've paid my dues and continue to pay them and will always continue to pay them, granted I have the money. And please don't misconstrue what I just said into "Ohhhhh so now you've bought stuff in the past so you're entitled to free stuff in the future?!?!?!?" (Because I know that's whats going through your head....) - No, I didn't say that. I'm just explaining that I have a track record of pouring money into the music business/industry for well over a decade, and like a DUMBASS, I will continue to do so (when my bank accounts allow for it, which should be soon, got an interview on Monday and another on Thursday) even though I know I'll never get it back. (Which is fine, this isn't a business to me, it's a hobby, and hobbies cost money)

I'm not justifying pirating and the world and music business would be a better place without it, but I'm enjoying defending it after you picked the wrong fight. You must realize pirating exists and always will, and having such a negative dogmatic attitude towards it likely isn't the route to take.

The very first release I ever did was on every ing share site within hours and despite staying awake countless hours, sending abuse emails to the share sites, and even contacting lawyers a few releases later, in the end there was NOTHING I could do. I basically had to close my label after spending over a year in debt because I couldn't generate enough revenue. Do you see me going ing nuts every time I see illegal/immoral music sharing going on?

Chill the out.
