What like this you mean?
People do buy them. A lot. |
i'm saying if you make a demo with a sound from actual tracks released a month ago in the demo mentioning the track, you will sell to more than 20 people a month.
If you did what i said at 10$, 1000 a month is conservative, But your demo features sounds that are not current for a genre that doesn't exist. |

It doesn't make any difference.
It's more important that the person making the presets is perceived as somebody who knows what they're dong.
Believe it or not there are quite a lot of people out there that don't buy presets to sound like the latest e on Beatport.
And 20 people a day is more like a realistic figure on a new release. That doesn't last, but it peaks for a while. |

He would have sold loads anyway because of who he is. Like I said they're an aspirational purchase. I wanna sound like X or whatever.
For me it wouldn't matter if I copied other tracks or not as nobody but my own email mailout list knows who I am still. The work is changing that fact. |

Well things are different now though. Everybody knows that any fool can recreate a track on a Youtube video.
I hear what you're saying, but I know it wouldn't actually make much difference to me.
I'm in with a couple of plugin devs now anyway, and that's where the real income can happen, although the vast majority of them have no ing clue how to sell their product. |

That fcuker said it was nearly there ages ago.
It needs a new reverb algorithm too. The one in it now is so dire. |
