| I wonder how late Hammerstein stays open... That'd be cool if it was like 4-5 acts over 8-10 hours. I'd definitely go if the DJ selection is on point- JoC would seal the deal, so would Sneijder... |

If esscala can't get this past 4am than they need to start this thing at 8pm. Of course depending how many DJ they can book.. But personally I'd like to see 4-5 different ones and have them play 1:30 - 2 hr sets.
besides ally and fila (obviously)

Not complaining but how long can this place stay open? 8 Dj slots is a lot for an event if it isn't at least 8+ hours.

They will have to open at 8 if they plan to bring so many DJ's under one roof..
There are already 5 slots filled which (assuming for now it will be 10-4) leaves them with one hour and 15 minutes for each slot which is acceptable for what it is. They still have 3 to announce tho.. I guess it will be another VS thing and one more DJ which amounts to 7 slots in a 6hr event.. less than an hour for each slot... so Esscala better work something out, it needs to be longer than 6 hrs.
Also if they won't bring JOC it's a bust, unless the rumor is true that Subculture will be doing their own thing in NY this year.
Regardless, Esscala bring someone we hadn't had the pleasure of seeing yet. This line up so far isn't living up to expectations. We see these guys 2-3 times a year. |
