Oh wow, I really like this one. Paul Oakenfold used to play another version of this.

I never grow tired of this great grooving monster of a track by the late, great Shem McCauley and Simon Rogers. Twenty-plus years on I don't think this has come to sound very dated at all...
"[...] a powerful, atmospheric house groove combining funking fretless basslines with wildly thrashing percussion which captures the current mood perfectly. The track has already been lauded by such DJs as Sasha, Graeme [sic] Gold, Pete Tong and Nick Warren, topping DJ charts and receiving critical acclaim in the specialist dance press, with Shem tipped as one of the top ten DJs for 97 by Muzik magazine."
(from an XL Recordings release sheet that came with the DJ promo)
A deeply regretted musical loss.

This is nice

"Out now" meaning self-published on BC? Tbh it sounds like an unfinished demo track to me - a rather uncomfortable listen actually with some stuff just sounding out of place. Piano may go

Demo or not, it kept my interest for the entire duration, has a nice psychedelic feeling and doesn't sound unpleasant to me
