I had an Indoor footy match today. We were getting destroyed like usual. I've been playing on some real teams lately. Anyways out of aggravation as a guy cut back while i was marking him and I made a tackle, I grabbed on to his arm. I tried to make it look like I was trying to balance myself but it was totally out of frustration. Anyways the ref called the foul like he should have. It was definitely a free kick but this guy turned around pissed walked up and pushed me. Of course I retaliated and pushed back and he ended up swinging a punch. The moment I saw him swing for my head I ended up giving him a body punch into the lower part of the ribcage/oblique's. I felt his rib cage in my fist when it hit and saw him wench with pain. it felt so damn good. he ended up getting me in the ear but It wasn't too hard. Anyways we ended up trading off another blow each to the melon before our two teams broke it up. I think I got in a bit more damage. I just got home to assess the damage and no bruises. I am pretty sure he's feeling mine though as my knuckle is probably the only thing in pain. We both got red carded and will probably get fined. I think it's 80 or 100 bucks plus a game misconduct. Anyways that was probably my first fight in 10 years. God damn it is sooooo therapeutic. I mean honestly. I feel great which is weird because i should feel some bit of shame for fighting another grown man in his mid 30's over a wednesday night soccer game. However, instead I feel like i got years of built up aggression out.
I encourage everyone to think about your bills, that ex gf issue you have, how your mechanic ripped you off, whatever it is just walk up and blast someone in the face these upcoming days. It honestly feels in good! |

| dude its canada. It's -20 here until like end of March. In the winter you have no choice but to play indoor. Plus in all honesty Indoor is good to hone your skills. You have a lot less room to work with, you need to think and act quick. Makes you so much more prepared for outdoor come summer time. Outdoor you feel like you have all the time in the world. Don't get me wrong though, Outdoor is sooooooooooo much better. But its either indoor or nothing during the winter here |

haha I'm not much of a fighter in my older days. Only today did I let loose a little. When i was younger though I had to throw down a few times..
the scariest most hurtful fight I have ever been in was when I had to fight my dad. It was ed up. He was drunk and he pushed my mom. I had never in my life seen him lay a hand on my mom. Me, yes. My brother, yes but not my mom. It was on! someone had to restore order and the only way my mind made sense of it was that he needed his ass kicked. and I wolloped him. I was a teenager and I had grown a lot bigger than the little boy he was used to punishing with a belt to the ass or throwing across the living room. anyways ill leave the details of the fight out but lets just say i mopped the floors with my old man. I threw him into walls, broke paintings threw some vicious haymakers. However dont think i stood their with one foot over the giant flexing. I cried like a little bitch the whole time. like uncontrollable tears running down my face as i laid punches in the back of his head as he laid lifeless on the ground....
and that my friend is the true meaning of christmas.
no anyways thats actually the most intimate thing I think i have ever shared on these boards. It was my coming of age. After that my father never used violence in the house ever again. He yells like an animal but he doesn't attack physically. For years after that he thought I was on steroids. He would find creatine in my room and think it was HGH or something. I guess that was his way of protecting his ego. " We are all small italian men in this family, except for you. Why are you 6 foot and built like linebacker? you do steroids??? I found powder in your room! Big Muscle man with tiny shrivelled balls! Sure you can beat people up but can you make a baby with your shrivelled balls??"
For years I shut up about it because I thought it was the most ed up thing I had ever done. I was embarrassed to tell even my closest friend. One day I ended up telling my best mate and he looked at me in shock. I remember feeling embarassed by the look he gave me until he finally said "Dude, you too? I've never told anyone because I thought it was so ed up but I once had to throw down with my Dad too and I kicked his ass all over the house". We were in tears laughing about it. I don't think its a normal thing still but sometimes you got to hold down the fort. We both fought hard and maybe overdid it because we were terrified of our fathers. We knew if we didnt kick some ass or if you hesitated that man was going to get back on his feet and teach you a true in lesson about respect. I still am terrified of my father. He's cool though for sure. The hardest part of our relationship nowadays is watching him grow old. |

As much as it sounds crazy, taking a good punch can feel good as well. When someone whomps you, and you are still standing, the slight "oh " look on their face is sometimes great.
I don't condone fighting, those days are behind me, but there are the feel good moments (as cro mangnon as it sounds, it does feel good to get a good belt in) as well as the not so good ones when you get your ass handed to you.
Either way, I believe a good fight builds character. As long as you are not being a bully, you can learn some valuable life lessons.
I can't wait until my kid gets in his first fight. As a mixed race kid in China it is bound to happen a lot. He will be ready.
I had to hit my dad too once. Only once. I caught beatings from him as a kid, and one day I was bigger. That one felt the best. He never even looked at me crooked after that one. |

Only been in one fight my whole life because I'm not exactly a type A personality nor am I confrontational. I don't have a temper usually but I broke my ankle in high school and had to use crutches for a few weeks and this guy in the grade above me thought it would be funny to trip me while I was trying to go down a staircase. The guy was was well known for being a ing idiot to begin with (and this isn't relevant but his name was John Smith, not joking, and weighed about 80 pounds soaking wet).
Anyway he made me fall down the stairs, someone helped me to my feet and the moron (John Smith) came down the stairs laughing and said something dumb to me so I punched him in the throat.
To be honest I was aiming for his face but he was taller than me, but he did fall over and spent a few moments on the ground trying to breathe.
Principal considered suspending me but it was the first time I'd gotten into any trouble in school and made me write a letter to John Smith apologizing. |

jesus ing christ it's an episode of doctor phil in here.
only been in 1 brawl that mattered. 3v5 after a night on the piss. we got smashed. 1 mate spent a week in hospital and had a metal plate installed in his face.
taught me never to leave any juice in the tank. violence is rarely the solution, but when it is, it's the only solution.
as an aside, once i was employed by the govt, i used my new powers to persecute one of the 5. was funny. |

If someone feels like reporting you , you will be arrested during the day which looks fantastic for work, you will face criminal charges and consider the possibility that you can just get really unlucky and hit the right place and killl or hospitalize someone.
Except under the auspices of self defence, I would consider a wet willy instead. |
