MMW announces dates for 2016 - Mar. 15-20, 2016

| Well Ultra will be a week earlier on the weekend of the 18th, 19th, and 20th. So I guess this makes sense but how will this effect parties throughout the week? Will we see another WMC vs MMW tug of war? |

| I don't think there is any tug of war. WMC is dead. MMW will follow Ultra and so will everyone else, WMC is pretty irrelevant at this point. |

| yeah WMC is irrelevant in terms of parties - they have to follow Ultra now as the speakers and attendees won't come for 2 weeks with just 1 week of Ultra/MMW. I still use the term being an older clubber but newer kids prob have no idea. |

You misunderstood what he was saying.... that the name WMC is dead and the conference itself is now meaningless when compared to MMW/Ultra. WMC the conference itself could disappear and it wouldn't change anything in terms of there being a week of parties under the MMW/Ultra brand names. |

In my head i have it broken down as Mixmag, Spinnin, DJ Mag etc=MMW.
Get Lost, Last Resort, Yacht Parties etc =WMC. |

| I believe MMW was a name started by Louis Puig back when he owned Space and it seems to have caught on. overall what you call the week is irrelevant - the parties will always happen which is really all that matters. :) |

Dont be surprised when a lot of people don't come to Miami next year. There's so many upset artists about that went down this year. All the big parties were stuffed but compared to previous years the attendance at the events were down.
I'll probably skip Miami all together. Save money and back to Europe for the opening of festival season |

That's completely off. MMW started with Space Miami and the Surfcomber pool parties which was the workings of Louis Puig a few years back.
WMC is the actual conference that goes on. |

The whole thing has become a huge cash grab. Not so much about the music anymore. :confused: |
