But yeah, I had to stay in the hospital for only a day, in my case. I couldn't pee in the beginning and was threatened to have my urine extracted with some penis machine if I wasn't able to pee. Luckily my perseverance enabled me to eventually do so. Now a pee machine is ing scary, dude.

Lol a pee machine??? You mean they would have had to insert a catheter - likely an "in and out" catheter - for urinary retention. Jesus where did you receive medical care? You got some ed up health teaching, lol.

lol...yeah I guess that's what it was. Anyway, the nurse told me if I didn't pee, she would extract it manually. :nervous: ing ghetto ass Coney Island hospital, man.

I was going to tell everyone about my in grown toe nail, the periodic pain it has caused me and my fear of getting a doctor to cut/pull it out, but I don't want Jenny to be little my suffering. :gsmile:

Jenny is right about the antibiotics. There was an article in NEJM about this some time ago: http://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMcp1215006

@MyMystery: Are you on corticosteroids (immunosuppresive medication)?

Yeah well, if you've seen what I've seen. :p

Regardless, men really are babies.

You got that right we are chickens when it comes to all things medical.

The closest thing to surgery was my wisdom teeth extraction. I was scared less especially when they had me sign a waver if I died under anesthesia they're not responsible.

It's a combination of three different meds but yeah, that's one of them. All in all, with the meds it's more of a minor annoyance than something causing me constant grief.

Probably not. This would not surprise me in the least.

What a grim idea for a thread. Luckily I have nothing to contribute.
